1. Firstly the Pollution Deptt should be made responsible and accountable. Today they are working through paper and they have no responsibility. they need to act as facilitator & not as police.
2. Industries be asked to invest in modern pollution and waste control technologies and customer for treated solid waste should be searched.
3. Industries should be made stakeholders and PCB and industries work together. Responsibility should be equal
4. Govt can finance by issuing Ganga Bonds.

Subsequent to my earlier post, create CRR (Cleanliness Reserve Ratio) similar to CRR for banks. All industries who dumps waste in river (here Ganga) to maintain this CRR mandatorily with govt (state/centre). Further
(1) Based on waste treatment measures taken by industry, define the interest payable to industry on this CRR, or fine, if any, either in monetary terms or business expansion restrictions
(2) CRR fund to be used for govt spendings on river cleanliness and infrastructure creation

Few norms could be
(1) Industries to be classified in terms of size & output namely SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE
(2) LARGE ones to be made accountable for neutralising harmful components of industrial waste
(3) MEDIUM ones to get financial assistance from govt, but made accountable for neutralising industrial waste
(4) SMALL ones to be grouped together by govt assistance and needed treatment to be done
(5) Just like CRR for banks, introduce CRR (Cleanliness Reserve Ratio) and similar norms

See harmful waste and pollutants come from factories that cause air and water pollution we can fix the water one by creating a passage for industrial wastes so that it cannot come in touch of maa ganga this will make our river less polutant

These plants r either nonfunctional or running at very low efficiency because of - No Proper efficient Authority to check-Strict norms with responsible-Public governing system comprising of retired Tech. experts/ Engr. of diff. industries must make surprise check to see the running of these ETP--Further Monitoring of these ETP CAN be given2 Industries1by1 -ROTATIONAL BASIS.Part of temple contribution use funding.

We should have to make a rule to stop the waste of big factories. Then no any other step has wants to be taken for cleaning because ganga has a tendency to it self.......

Strict norms are required to follow to protect Mother Ganga. Not a single drop of industrial waste is to be passed. The waste water may be routed to somewhere else after treatment. This may be for agriculture and reuse by industry. The practice of dedication at banks is to be prohibited. Regular cleaning of water by several filtering plants. Prohibition of throwing dead animal and human to be strictly adhered. The tourist number is to regulated as per carrying capacity.
