It has been observed that lack of sanitation facilities has been a major issue in cities and villages. Invariably the poor are worst sufferers due to the lack of such facilities. The solution lies in creating toilets and at the same time devoting energy to maintain them.
We have teamed up under the name Bharat ek kadam and we hope to fulfill modijis vision of a clean and hygienic bharat.
With my efficient team of modifiers we have been able to come out with a viable solution to this problem. The bio- toilet that we have developed is one of its kind which is hygienic and convenient, very economical and is being introduced with a lot of innovative features best suited to the requirement of modern times
Being an engineer by profession I and my team resolved to find a solution to this problem and we started to work from the day Modiji made his intentions clear
His genuine grief struck a chord in our heart and my team and I decided to work on this problem to provide relief to the lakhs of women suffering silently with no relief in sight.
When modiji expresed his anguish on the lack of toilet facilities which led to a lot of hardship for the females in their day to day life, we were touched by his geniuine care and concern for the mothers and sisters who had to wait till sunset to attend to their natures call in the open air due to unavailability of toilets.
Prompted by Modijis resolve to provide toilets in every school within the span of a year myself and my close team of modifiers have embarked on a mission to fulfil his dream and work on his promises.
SAS - Sanitation Awareness Sercice
No it is not another one on the lines of IAS or IFS but it is --
A vision document providing solution to the problem of sanitation and cleanliness by involving the citizens, youth, corporate and administration with 02 October 2019 as goal.
By Prashant Kulshreshtha
the toilets must be made in every locality as near possible to every house or colonies so that person in rural as well as urban areas do not piss on road every house should have toilets provided by the govt fund and every public toilets should be cleaned daily
Mobile Toilet would be a good option to explore. Since most of the places where people defecate are slum areas which is densely populated without any proper sanitization facility. It would be good to provide morning & evening mobile toilets at these places. Most of the western countries have chemical toilets which doesn't require much water.
Constructing is not a big problem, maintaining it is a more serious issue, when it will be handed over to some government body viz grampanchayat or muncipality again some people will play with system and scams at such smaller scale are not even highlighted. Such contracts are awarded well below estimated cost, there should be a limit on the lower side too instead of current Lowest bidder system
