THE BIGGER THE PROBLEM THE SIMPLER THE SOLUTION ALL ROADS OF SAME WIDTH. Uneven width of roads causes conjestion. The problem of road conjestion is analogous to our water pipes supply. Even if the pipe has one narrow joint the flow will reduce.(based on equation of continuity anology) Public transport's density should be propotional to the population density. Public transports should improve basic facilities above all, frequencies should be adjusted so that each person atleast gets a seat.

Lets start with educating and make non cognizable offense: not to honk, reducing noise pollution Make pooling of vehicles much more friendly, provide incentives. Making public transport better is a huge task which certainly has to be done, but giving tax incentives for travelling in bus, making cards for buses, electronic payments is easier. Traffic lights to be made with electronics with sensing which side has more traffic and automatically making more time for the same. Roads for next 20yrs.

And car pooling system in office hours or peak hours. And that can also registed in app so any body want to help some one so technolgy can help the most. One of the ideal ways to solve traffic problems in a city is to encourage and promote the use of public transport among the daily travelers. Main reason for the reluctance in using public transport is the irregular timings of buses. Idea: 1.Have all the buses equipped with accurate GPS systems 2.Encourage the travelers to install the app where they can subscribe for a particular bus route they travel everyday 3.Update the travelers about the location of buses and approximate time to reach.

Part-2 2. For small distance travels (from home to the nearest major bus stand or last mile connectivity), people can use car. For longer distance (more than 3-4 kms), people should use buses (except for medical ground). For this: a. BRT for faster bus movements b. Where alternative roads are available, close one road for cars. Allow only buses c. In case of narrower roads, overbridges for BRT buses can be made d. Sufficient parking at major bus stations
