First of all we should try to understand the problem clearly. More stress should be given on public vehicles and use of eco friendly vehicle like cycle should be done. Other major problem is bribe in India against which strict action should be taken on ground and not only on papers. Digitalisation can help to avoid the problem of bribe and will be of great use to traffic police.

Answer 3 : Use “Wi-Fi” in buses (Separate for Male & Female) as well as create a “Mobile App” with immediate complaint & response (from security) system. Check-in & check-out system in buses (Use of Swap Cards, which contains detail of passenger including his Travel History in City Buses). In Case of Threat; Alarm System and SMS based system for report. #MeraShaharMeraSapna
Answer 2 : Only Solution; encourage use of Cycle/Rickshaw & Inter-City Bus system with required facilities (like Wi-Fi). With use of Wi-Fi we can also locate the Bus. #MeraShaharMeraSapna
Answer 1: Encourage use of Cycle/Rickshaw & Inter-City Bus system with required facilities (like Wi-Fi), this will control "Big Jams". Small distance trains (For e.g. Maduwadeeh-Cantt-Sarnath; in case of Varanasi). Ban entry of Trucks between 7 AM to 10 PM in city. #MeraShaharMeraSapna
1.Real time information of public transportation with connectivity details, all the public transport related info should be available from single place. Ofcourse employees of the public transport should maintain accurate times. Scaling based on stastics.
2.Build GPS based app to provide real time alternate routes based on estimated traffic from analytics and forecast.
3.Usage of car pooling organised with safety and security. Authenticated Identity from govt.
Must be punished the person who break the traffic rule. And make people aware regarding traffic.
create a robust metro system that covers the whole of the city not just on the main roads this will make people walk to the station rather than drive. provide shuttle services to metro stations using buses so that people don't take cars out. have bicycle lanes so that it encourages people to use cycles rather than cars or bikes. make metro 24 hours running and divide the hours in peak and non peak. in non peak hours run one train every 1 hour.
All traffic violation fine must be pay through online instead of manually to the police to avoid corruption.
Cities should design bus routes to ensure multi-modal integration. A city-level Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority, backed by legislation, should facilitate coordinated planning and implementation of transport projects. We need an intelligent software to improve systems for vehicle location, collecting online fares, priority signalling for buses, and real-time bus information. Cities should also set up Traffic Information Management Control Centres for effective enforcement and monitoring
