Strict lane Discipline and adherence to traffic rules.including government vehicles. On the spot confiscation of license for wrong doers. The punishment should include pedestrians not crossing at the right places or time or jaywalking.Separate lane for bikers on all main roads.Teach traffic rules especially lane discipline on TV,media, use flyers,at schools and offices. For example, if there is a U turn or junction, for every vehicle taking a turn, the first row of vehicles go forward thus avoid clog

1) Build peripheral roads that encircle the city so that drivers can reach their destination without having to cross the core congested roads? 2) The timings of school, banks and offices should be different. 3) All two wheelers should allowed three persons to sit and convert two wheelers into three or four wheelers 4) Accelerator should be constructed on the busy roads, no vehicle should be allowed on accelerator The above suggestions will reduce the traffic congestion.

3. A single bus might not go to each locality in a city but there are connecting buses to help us out with it. If that data is available on google maps it would make journeys more hassle free. To increase safety gps should be installed on all buses or drivers be given gps enabled devices and real time tracking should be done.

1. Exporting real time traffic data to google maps can help prevent traffic congestion as it will suggest people to take routes which will make them reach their destination faster. 2. Municipalities are not increasing the frequency of city buses because people are not opting for it, again, people are not opting for it because frequency is low. This creates a chain of reducing interest of both parties to indulge in better functioning of city buses. Solution for it's simply increase the frequency

The road system can be converted to two, One is express way and another is normal. Express way will only have the personal vehicles(Cars, Trucks etc) in which speed limit is 50km-120km, No U turn option often. and normal ways(Public Transport)ways max speed limit of 50kms. No lane change option between this two roads. This will help to avoid 50% Traffic issue.

To make bus journey comfortable, first of all the roadways should be made well furnished.. In states like Assam nothing can be changed until roadways are made better..the conditions of roadways in barak valley of Assam is pathetic.. When the roadways r fine, then all the buses should be made full Ac..people will feel much comfortable in Ac buses than in simple non Ac buses..separating the roadways of buses & private vehicles is also another way..

Implement no vehicle day on busy roads in a week. Construct accelerator on busy roads, no vehicle on accelerator , it will reduce pollution , time will be saved, traffic congestion will reduce.
