MyGov is organizing a competition (the "Contest") for creation/ development of a Mobile Application ("App")for the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The Contest is open for participation to the Citizens of India only.
There are three phases in the contest:
o Phase 1 - the Idea Submission Phase
o Phase 2 - the Wireframe Development Phase
o Phase 3 – the App Development Phase
Last Date of Submission for Phase 1 is 23rd March, 2015 by 5:00 PM IST.

Prizes
• Idea Phase (Phase-I): Ideas selected by the jury will win an Android One device from Google and a Certificate of Appreciation from MyGov.
• Wireframe development phase (Phase-II): The top 5 shortlisted teams will get Certificate of Appreciation from MyGov and an opportunity to be mentored by Google to build the mobile app.
• App Development phase (Phase-III): The winning team will get a Sponsored trip to the Unites States of America to meet a team of Google Developers,subject to Terms and Conditions.

PM's Mobile App should have a good and easy interface for common citizen
it should include interface to give suggestion, Votes and Ideas for any ongoing or upcoming policy of Government,and volunteers can join for social works
It must Include a escalation interface, where any citizen can raise his/her voice against corruption and harassment by any official of any department,
It must include information about major departments, their policies and contact persons and escalation matrix
A separate section for complaints along with separate sections like - income tax depth, HR depth, Human Trefeccing depth.
#App should be connected with regional locations as well,so that any one demand for help in any kind of emergency and that could facilitate the imidiate help to the needy.
#one more thing- he person which did complaint against 'xyz' should also receive the status update like so and so action has taken against xyz and all
The app will have three sections
1. Complaint Section
This will deal with launching a complaint against any individual who is not performing his/her duties correctly. With name/s, reason/s and tracking facility.
2. Interaction Section
This will allow user to record (audio/video) and share any information/situation. Which will help government to respond quickly.
3. Information Section
Here user will get information about any government regulations/policies/schemes. No one should get fooled.
It shud b public grievance mechanism about Central Govt dept services, where people hardly has chances to raise their concerns.
- There should be a grid of all dept service grievances. Though individual dept grievance sys is there but it lacks transparency & accntbility.
- By this, you can segregate all depts along the lines of their performance.(dept analytics)
- It has commn problms/threads which will allow you to expedite process of handling.

#Interaction. Since curbing corruption is a major aspect of governance and is being directly handled by PMO, special attention shall be given to data collection, review and analysis of anti corruption initiatives by individuals. For instance the app should provide facility to upload videos, audios, photos of stings on corrupt individuals and the same shall be addressed and the action by Government reported in the app itself. This shall encourage more individuals to utilise the facility for good.
Currently it is hard to keep PAN Card, Driving License, Aadhar Card, Passport same time with us.
- App can save all the information with photos and authenticate numbers(approved by govt).
- The goverment's all department (police, regional offices) should accept this as KYC
- User can share his detail to them so it does not required paper work

The people should be able to indirectly, through this App suggest innovative ammendments in the bills , when the disscussions are in process during the parliament sessions.
All services of all Deparment should be include as a submenu of main menu of that department.
for this Government have to setup a centralise alone server for this app and all government servers will be accessible to this app by using more security and authentication for this app.and for using this app user must register on this app using their government provided id card no. by using their only id card no., user can access to this app.so only indians can use this app.
Any one who is sending his request / application to P.M.O office or other govt. office should get feedback department vise via this mobile app. like current status of his request/application , and contact number of office, name of employee with whom the application is pending. we can use bar code stickers as inward number.
