In order to identify and popularize the programme implemented nationwide by the Department of Land Resources (Ministry of Rural Development) viz. Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP), DoLR invites citizens to design a Logo, coin a new name and Tagline for IWMP.
The logo, name and taglines should
• Communicate the essence of the programmes and its objectives
• Be unique, dynamic, progressive and scalable
• Represent the cultural ethos of the country
• Not resemble any other brand logo
The last date for submitting entries is 10th October 2014 (midnight)
The winning Entry will receive a cash reward of Rs. 50,000/-
Further, 5 shortlisted entries for the programme will get a cash prize of Rs 10,000/- each.

JAL : Conserve Water Conserve Life.
The name I propose for IWMP is "JAL", which means 'Water' in Hindi. The design is inspired from the way water flows and the fluidic movement of water is evident in the curves of the letters J A L. As water management is intrinsic in our lives, this is depicted as a person in letter 'a' of the word JAL. Also, the empty space in middle of letter 'a' resembles a water drop. To summarize, the tag line would be 'Conserve Water . Conserve Life'

Name : Jaldeep - जलदीप Slogan : पानी जीवन बचाता है Logo : I have shown one hand which representing dry land to convert into green society, green earth for better life. I have kept Jaldeep name which means revolution in Water Management which will be always shining like Deep.
