In order to identify and popularize the programme implemented nationwide by the Department of Land Resources (Ministry of Rural Development) viz. Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP), DoLR invites citizens to design a Logo, coin a new name and Tagline for IWMP.
The logo, name and taglines should
• Communicate the essence of the programmes and its objectives
• Be unique, dynamic, progressive and scalable
• Represent the cultural ethos of the country
• Not resemble any other brand logo
The last date for submitting entries is 10th October 2014 (midnight)
The winning Entry will receive a cash reward of Rs. 50,000/-
Further, 5 shortlisted entries for the programme will get a cash prize of Rs 10,000/- each.

hello.
integrated watershed management programme includes the conservation of water mainly along with soil and vegetation protection. it cannot be invisaged without community participation.
my logo here depicts blue for water, green for vegetation in a round form representing earth/ soil. On right side it shows the man and women symbol representing community. "AMRITUM JALAM " is a sacred sentence which says about our rich culture of giving importance to water since vedic time. thanks

(1) Name: DHARADHAR VIKASH KARYAKRAM (2) Tagline: SHANSKAR DHARYEN KI ADHAR KI (3) Logo: See jpg file attached. Logic: Wateshed is the ADHAR(container) of all DHARAs (flowing water). We should preserve ecological cycles of watersheds and develop them for the benefits of the dwellers. Hence we have to bring Shanskar (reform) in the usage of watersheds. The tagline explains the word 'DHARADHAR' (DHAARAA+AADHAAR) and the purpose of the programme.
