Ministry of Power (MoP) and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) are organizing the National Energy Conservation Award Ceremony on 14th Dec 2014 at New Delhi. The Ceremony will be graced by our Honorable Prime Minster Sh. Narendra Modiji. During this ceremony BEE wants to release CD containing small video clips on best practices to save energy. In this regard, MoP& BEE appeal to the citizens of India to create small video clips of 1 to 2 mins on best energy saving practices/habits and upload the same on YouTube. After uploading the video clips, please provide its ID and link on MyGov platform.

All the video clips received by BEE would be assessed by a Screening Committee for an initial evaluation. After such screening, all approved clips would be assessed by a Selection Committee for final evaluation.
Evaluation would be done on the basis of popularity and factors outlined by a Selection Committee. Once the video clip is submitted on MyGov, other MyGov users can ‘like’ the entries. Once clip is submitted, the person who submitted the clipcould share an auto generated Tweet/ Post stating that he or she has shared video clip on MyGov. Similarly, those who ‘like’ every clip can share an auto-generated Tweet/ Post stating they have liked a particular clip.

All the selected video clips will be added into the said CD, which will be released by Honorable Prime Minister on 14th Dec 2014 for National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation.   

Last Date of Submission is 7th December, 2014.
