The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

1.Well garbage removal,gutters drainage system in the city. 2.Road should clean and in good condition. 3.Good derign of divides to avoid accidents. 4.A well developed airport for international standard of light. 5.A permanent double road route for every procession from Ruksin circle to railway. 6.Regarding to solve drinking water problem,ragas kop water reservoir should be cleaned to remove the mud at garbage inside it so the water will be be sufficient as per the capacity of dam to fulfil.

VISION OF SMART PASIGHAT Though the Highway NH-52 was facilitated through the Pasighat and Bridge of siang River called Ranaghat bridge was also already facilitated but the rail connectivity is still not in pasighat and Airways. welcome gates is also not proper now, all there given city connectivity ways are very important for communication and transportation.

To minimise or prevent traffic congestion a world class city bus stand/depot should be constructed in the outskirts of the city.Every facility for parking ,toilet ,washing,shops,cafetaria and place for vendors should be constructed in the bus stand.Cleanliness should be strictly maintained by installing dustbins, garbage boxes and provision of municipal trucks to carry away the garbage from the bus depot/stasnd.

pasighat is the oldest town of ARUNACHAL...THIS IS the centre of all the district.it has a potential to become cities like metropolitican city mumbai.

Pasighat where basic amenities are at an arm’s length and people are prosperous and happy. and eco friendly city where both human and nature live together without disturbing each other.

A digital city where there is well connected networking system to control crime incident, e- governance, super fast communication system and well connected road network.
