The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

Vision Statement:- Innovation in managing resources by leveraging modern technology in designing and shaping Pasighat city for better living inclusive economic growth for today and tomorrow, that includes creation of quality infrastructures, improved amenities, Eco-friendly, citizen’s safety , harmonizing diversity in religion, culture and language, good e-governance, encourage tourism and business .

"स्मार्ट पासीघाट बनाने से तात्पर्य ऐसे पासीघाट शहर का निर्माण करने से हैं जहाँ सभी मूलभूत सुविधाएँ, संसाधन उपलब्ध हों। उत्कृष्ट अधोसंरचना, जल विघुत व्यवस्था, सड़कें, स्व्स्थ्य सुविधा आदि स्मार्ट पासीघाट की आधारभूत पहचान होंगी। शहर आधुनिकता, तकनीकी, सौंदर्य से सुसज्जित होंगा। शिक्षा, उर्जा, उघोग, प्रशासन में पासीघाट का ऊँचा नाम हों, बस्ती में रहने वाला कोई शख्श पिछड़ा न हों, नर-नारी, बच्चे-बूढ़े सब सुरक्षित एवं विकसित हो। शहर का हर चौराहा सुन्दर, क्षेत्र विकसित और हर बस्ती स्वच्छ होंगी।

As a citizen of pasighat and after looking at the matter,I miss MEM NEGENG strongly support and agree pasighat to be the smart city. Iam not in any favor,but the after the issue I see that pasighat is best suitable for smart city with good geographical location and environment. In my opinion,I do believe that if pasighat would be declared as the smart city it will bring lots of development not only under pasighat but as well in all adjoining districts and other remote areas of state.

As per my view need to keep traffic as per rule without prepare parking place how to make kept proper traffic.
