“Water Heroes – Share Your Stories” Contest is being continued from 1st September 2020 by the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation; Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India with the objective of promoting the value of water in general and for supporting country-wide efforts on water conservation and sustainable development of water resources.

The participant will have to post their Success Stories in the field of water conservation which will comprise of a Write-up (upto 300 words), Pictures and a video of one to five minutes duration depicting their efforts/ significant contributions/ best practices used in different parts of the country in field of water conservation, water utilization or water resources development and management. The participants will share their Stories, pictures along with the link of their YouTube Video on MyGov portal. In addition to MyGov Portal, the entries may also be submitted to waterheroes.cgwb@gmail.com.

Instructions to upload film:
1. Please upload your film on your youtube channel.
2. In the comment section, copy, paste the youtube link here. (do not upload the film here)

All selected entries will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- each. Each month, a maximum of 10 entries shall be selected for the cash prize.

We have to use Resources sustainably because some resources like water cannot be renewed easily it takes million of year in formation that's why we have to use Resources limited.
