Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment ...
Proper fancing should be done around the railway tracks and after some distance there should 4-5 persons assign duty to watch in nearby tracks areas and CCTV cameras should be kept so any mal-pratices going on in train can also be captured through CCTV footage
the responsibility of people to care his life......their is people mistek to crossing track quickly for saving time

I would like to propose the design of Anti-Collision Device. This design can fully automate the railway system from including the unmanned crossing as well as time management. This design coupled with the software part can run the entire system with the help of reliable sensor network.Features-
1.Unique design of sensor which is reliable(100%),durable and cheap in long run.
2.Hard-wired system, hence zero chance of interference or radio blackout.
3.Much cheaper than existing design(10 lakh/km)

Technological use:
1. Railway: Install Automatic gate with warning lights and sound to stop the motorist crossing over.
2. Railway: If not feasible cost-wise to implement it, we can only have Warning light and sound triggered by approaching train. It can be monitored centrally. The driver of the train can report of all the crossing to better manage it.
3. Local Authorities: Educate nearby people of the danger and carry out surprise check by police with fine.

LEVE CROSSINGS SHALL BE UNDER DIGITAL CONTROL.IN ALL LEVEL CROSSINGS UNDER COMPUTERISED BY CENTRAL OR MAIN STATION.JOB OPPRTUNITY CAN BE OPEN THROUGH SHIFTING CHANGE IN LEVEL CROSSING,THOSE WHO ARE IN IT DEPT OR IT KNOWLEDGEABLE.THERE RUDDER CAN BE INSTALLED JUST LIKE FLIGHT SYSTEM.
Make trains move slower at rail crossings which are unmanned, near to the railway station.
people should be made aware of the rail accidents that happen at rail crossings and announcements should be arranged for people to not to cross when the train is nearby 100m from the crossing which is unmanned. The announcements may be made automatic by using sensors that recogize the train movement and their distance from the unmanned railcrossing.
there should not be any moaned or unmanned railway crossings as it finally lead to delay and subject to risk safety of commuters as mechanical devices after aging will increase the failure rate, the best idea to form a separate organization jst like NHAI or NITI AAYOG involved in planning, negotiation and construction of ROB having both railway and state authorities ,
