I appreciate the views put forth by our government...kudos....
My concern or question is...Being smart city at what cost? cost of these poor,inexpressive TREES... saddened by the sight...I have been witnessing the merciless amputating of huge,well grown trees.I just want to say that we need good conditioned roads...the present one(khanapur road)is wide enough.Cannot we include these trees in the road widening plan..??It takes years to grow such huge trees & just mins to cut them...help plz
27) More places of tourist attractions to be developed such as amusement parks, water parks horse/camel / elephant rides , Zoo, Belgaum history museum, Memorials or towers etc
28) Tourist places should have the following amenities
- Eating places which should be neat and hygienic with clean drinking water.
- Hawker's area should be designated instead of them standing on the road
- Souvenir shops.
- Parking place
These places should be chargeable and earn revenue to the city.
22) Govt officers to be trained to speak politely and be helpful to citizens
23) All Govt offices to have proper boards displayed about important procedures in 3 languages
24) Places of tourist interest should be developed with proper parking, refreshments, cleanliness and toilets
25) Places of tourist interest should be prominently marked on roads. Some places of such interest are - Jain basti in fort area, killa lake, Yellur fort.
26) More parks to be developed for walking/jogging.
16) CCTV to be installed at all important junctions and public places
17) Road directions for other cities and important places at all junctions and important locations.
18) Encourage cycling and ban vehicular traffic on congested roads
19) Online application for all govt offices. This will help get rid of touts.
20) Belgavi being a border town, all govt forms should be in 3 languages - English, Kannada and Marathi
21) Govt offices to be cleanly maintained with clean toilets.
9) City to be free wifi enabled
10) New parking buildings to be build at important locations
11) Traffic lights at every intersection
12) More police force to be employed to force every citizen to follow traffic rules with strict punishment for repeat offenders.
13) Awareness program on traffic rules for every driver
14) Railway overbridges at every rail crossing
15) Digging of road for pipe/cable laying to be undertaken only by authorised personnel, who should restore its original state
1) 24hr potable water in every household.
2) 24hrs uninterrupted electricity complemented with solar and wind energy
3) Garbage collection every 3 hrs from every street corner or garbage bins
4) All drainages to be cleaned at least once a week.

7) Database with all KYC details of every citizen linked to his aadhar card
8) All bill payments to be online with tag "NO LINE - ONLINE"
-RAIN WATER HARVESTING IS TO BE GIVEN PROIRITY WHILE BUILDING THE APARTMENTS OR OTHER BUILDINGS AND TO BE MADE COMPULSORY SO THAT THE BUILDERS MAKE PROVISIONS FOR THAT WHILE CONSTRUCTING THE SAME.

-THE STAKERS ON THE ROAD SIDE ARE TO GIVEN PROPER STALLS SO THAT IT REDUCES THE HASSLE ON THE PAVEMENTS AND TRAFFIC ON THE ROAD.
-THE STREET DOGS ARE TO BE TAKEN SAFELY AND PROPERLY TO A PLACE SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR THEM OR TO BE LEFT IN THE FOREST WITHOUT HURTING THEM.

-Emission Certificates are to be made compulsory for every vechile on road as our environmental issues are very bad.If not produced then the right action is to be taken.
-Speed detectors are to be put on the roads to reduce the accidents happening.Proper fine is to be taken if proper speed is not taken care of.
