Shaheed Bhagat Singh was not only a symbol of courage and patriotism but also a young thinker who believed in learning and contributing to society. His ideas continue to inspire generations of Indians to take an active role in shaping the nation.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh believed that ideas are more powerful than weapons. Today, how can the power of ideas, knowledge, and innovation be harnessed by the youth to shape the India of tomorrow?

Reflect on how values such as patriotism, courage, critical thinking, social responsibility, and active citizenship can empower young Indians to contribute towards a stronger, more progressive, and developed India.

For my nation, weapons are not needed. My generation's battles are against dependence, inequality, unemployment and climate change. These can only be won by the power of ideas, knowledge, and innovation. This is what Shaheed Bhagat Singh meant when he said ideas are more powerful than weapons. He fought with books and critical thinking at just 23. For my nation, true patriotism today is Atmanirbhar Bharat - designing our own chips, building AI for our farmers, and creating startups in our villages. It takes courage to question misinformation and injustice, and social responsibility to turn our learning into service. If we practice active citizenship in our colleges and communities, we will build a stronger, more progressive and developed India - the Viksit Bharat Bhagat Singh dreamt of. Jai Hind

Bhagat Singh dreamed of an India that was genuinely free and capable of determining its own future. For today's generation, freedom also means economic and technological strength. Youth can contribute through entrepreneurship, manufacturing, research, AI, semiconductors, biotechnology and innovation.

Developing scientific temper and critical thinking. Using AI and technology responsibly rather than blindly depending on them. Fighting misinformation and fake news through fact-checking. Reading beyond social media and developing independent opinions.

Bhagat Singh remains one of India’s most powerful symbols of courage, sacrifice, intellectual freedom and commitment to social justice. Although he lived in a very different India, many of his ideals are deeply relevant to today’s youth.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s life reminds us that courage becomes meaningful when it is guided by knowledge, ideas and a sense of responsibility. Today’s youth can use education, technology, AI, research and innovation to solve real problems in society. Patriotism should inspire us to serve our communities, protect our environment and contribute to the country’s progress. Critical thinking can help young people question problems, understand facts and find better solutions. By becoming responsible citizens, creating opportunities and supporting those around us, the youth can play a major role in building a stronger, progressive and developed India. The best tribute to Bhagat Singh is to turn our ideas into positive action.
