What are your ideas on commemorating Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary with a special focus on cleanliness? What innovative initiatives can be adopted to mark this ...
Now since cleanliness awareness has rise among people strict laws & proper system should be enforced...i.e. Proper garbage dustbins need to be installed within walking distance
Police Authorities must be given responsibility to fine as when they see anyone throwing garbage...I have to bring garbage home at the end of day because of no easy disposal availability..residence-Indore(M.P)
Plastic bags, cups and plates must be reduced or stopped. Indian people are somewhat greedy and run after free. They should be offer some free if they do not use plastic. Others who are throwing garbage here and there must be fined or asked to be clean for one hour. This must be enforced by Police or railway official at stations. Responsibility must be fixed with result. Until and unless some kind of punishment is not introduced and implemented strictly, the Indian people will continue Chalta Hai.
1) Motivate municipalities to go for advanced cleaning machines on land and in waters, and give them some grants.
2) Municipalities should follow some of the best practices from around the world.
3) Center should create competition between municipalities from all over India and give them a award (annually) for the best cleaned city during the whole year.
4) Air pollution index should also be considered in this cleanliness drive.
I stay in Vaishali/Ghaziabad where BJP is ruling but you see the local market their with a big garbage dump yard. Can any one tell Mr. V K Singh to work towards the cleanliness of the area at least near the Delhi/NCR if he can not do in remote area of his constituency. Giving slogan for swachh bharat is not the motto.
I urge our Hon'ble PM to give clear direction to all his MPs and MLAs, Memeber of municipality are where BJP is ruling and all RSS members to aggressively do the cleanliness drive in their locality/area/constituency. We cannot expect from other party/members if our BJP cadre cannot do the work to achieve the goal of their leader.
In the urban areas, mandatorily every home should plant 2 tree in front of their homes. As we can see for their vehicle parking they are evading grown trees. This should be avoided.
In the rural areas, identify vacant places near the temple, road side, schools, and other places for tree plantation. Give the responsibilities to school children to maintain till grows. Reward them for their good job done.
For a greener india, please allocate areas where the trees can be planted...this is a practical problem, also allow people to name trees I.e.like name of the family. So that they will take care of the trees for lifetime .. Imagine the potential of people who will participate and will buy that small portion of land to plant the tree
Selfie with family tree can also be advised, it can become viral through social media.
Hi,
I have a suggestion for the government, why can't we have one day which could be a public holiday and the people who self volunteer themselves comes out and star clean areas which are assigned to them by the administration..best top 10 cleaned areas can be awarded...to get funds we can star selling swach bharat, digital india, merchandise the t-shirts, bottles mobile covers
..cont'd
But will also provide few employment for some needy people, both making our streets colourful as well as interesting..
Namaste India,
One major reasons for garbage in our street's are all the political parties. As we all know every now and then different range of election are held all over India and during such event our clean streets are flooded by posters, flags, paintings etc.which are never taken off ever.all these resulting in a dirty looking street's. I request to change this trend and rather introduce a mascot for every parties ,which will not only save money and make our streets clean....
