What are the major constraints in eliminating beggary? In addition to the efforts made by the Government, how can public participation get India rid of beggary? ...
The rich and the affluent people of India must come forward to donate their excess money for genuine charitable purposes. This will give them Income Tax exemption and also much financial relief to the underprivileged sections of society. The black money invested in Swiss Banks must be distributed to the poor and the needy people of India.
We ourselves are the main constraints. We should not give a single pasia to the beggars at the cross roads or near the temple. If we don't give nobody will stand there to bagg.
Sir, Mid-Day once reported that a begging spot outside Bandra railway station in Mumbai could go anywhere between Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000 per month. Some long term beggars there have permanant homes in their homes states.

Govt.should help people take steps to eliminate constraints by provoding adequate protection and helping volunteers rather than making laws.
TO STOP POVERTY STOP GIVING THE BEGGAR THE MONEY OR AVOID SYMPATHY AND NGOS CAN WORK TOWARDS THEM OR THERE SHOULD BE SOME DEVELOPMENTAL SCHEMES FOR THEM
#MyStory : During My holidays when I look after my shop I go through lots of beggars wandering. I ask them giving a rupee in their hand that baba/bhaiya do some work , Earn Money & Respect too !! Sometimes I also feel like that they beg knowingly because it's the easiest way to get money. one time i heard two beggars talking this : yaar roz ek gaon(village) chala jata hun 200-300 ka kamai ho jata h, kya jarurat kaam krne ki.
Once I spoke to a beggar who has committed crime in past and later society did not accept him. Other one told me he once asked few people to give work and all hesitated to help him because “he was beggar”. They don’t have any identity card representing themselves. Sometime I observe people giving money to beggars, were like donating money in “Donation box” without feeling, just to get rid of them, no pity, no affection and still feeling proud in it.
Solution : in pic
We can give them jobs in railways, in seaports, imposing fine on those who still found doing this.
there r various jobs like security guards job that these beggars can do.
they can do small works in manufacturing units.
NGOs have to come forward with a bright mind & help the govt in this step.
I have seen that there is a big nexus behind this beggary system. The mastermind behind this forcefully snatch the people towards this beggary system and take his share from these beggars.
Firstly we have to break this nexus.
Some beggars have made their business as they cut one of their crucial part of the body & take advantage of this situation, not all but some beggars do this.
For others we have to give they small jobs like of "SAFAI KARAMCHARI",or give them skill dev. training etc.
It is coz of extra population in our country. When we can not handle 7-8 children in our house properly so how can a country control 125crores people properly. So we should control our population first. Modi ji plz do something to control our population.
