Digital technologies can help citizens in all income groups by providing digital access to information, knowledge and services. How can we empower all citizens with digital access? ...
Link every documents and bank accounts of a person to Aadhar number and using aadhaar as a key he/she should be able to see all the bank transactions and their documents. For this all the documents are required to be digitalized. And using aadhar as a key the citizens should be able to forward applications for the services needed, online.
Regarding SOCIAL MEDIA SECURITY: Create a GOVT WEBSITE where people can generate SOCIAL MEDIA UNIQUE ID(SMUID) using ADHAAR number and make mandatory that Social Media users has to give SMUID while creating any account and Social Media providers should allow to create one account per SMUID so we can avoid FAKE accounts and also SOCIAL Media CRIMES can be tracked easily. ONLY SMUID shall be shared with Social Media providers and not the ADHAAR details.
Re: Digital India, while the effort of the GoI is laudable, two issues need to be kept in mind:
1. Most services are in the states and unless DI is rolled out in the states, the effort is not going to have a dent nationally.
2.In the states, even where some services are already digital, the bureaucracy requires a "physical presence", one only calculated to extract a bribe consideration to effect a certificate, etc. The only way around this is to institutionalize where no human is required.
As I periodically review the MyGov.in site, I am quite confused at the head-spinning number of topics that are breeding like rabbits. As Sheena Iyengar notes in her best selling book, The Art of Choosing, too many choices have a counter-productive result: there is analysis-paralysis and less participation. I find the mind-boggling number of topics a hindrance to my willingness to participate and this, I am sure, is true of most people.

Sir, I am happy that government has taken a good step by starting digital india in which digilocker has been introduced and on the other hand computer awareness program has been started in rural areas, i hope by introducing such program throughout india may lead to drastic changes in everybodies life of an Indian citizen. Thankyou onceagain and egarly waiting for the next steps and good schemes in future for the benefit of middle class families also.
RBI has extended the date for exchange of scribbled/spoiled/prior to 2005 currency notes till 31st December,2015.It is observed that commercial banks are still putting such currency notes in their ATMs for public consumption. My request is that the banks should put atleast clean currency notes their ATMs.Otherwise the circulation of prohibited notes will go on.
free WiFi allotted in schools are not helpful because in schools the condition of computer labs are not so good and students don't know how to use them .so first they should be given training how to use them.
We need to digitize the RTO(Regional Transport Offices) on priority. As of now I am filling up 12 pages of repeated information for the transfer of my car from Dehradun to Mumbai. I also have to visit the RTO 4 times. This is one of the last strangleholds of the "document mafia". We need to break this down. I heard Hon'ble Minister Nitin Gadkari talking about scrapping RTOs. If we can get Voter-ids and Aadhar cards sitting at home via the internet, the RTOs should not be a difficult challenge.
