Effective rehabilitation of beggars

Start Date :
Jan 01, 2015
Last Date :

04:15 AM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
In order to equip them to look after their needs, it is necessary to impart skills to them. Most of them are unskilled and this makes their rehabilitation in alternative ...
In my opinion, education will eliminate this issue. In our country there are lot of children did not have opportunity to school. All happened is the policies remained on the table of officials.
Let the government introduce a scheme to the poor. Let the kid have 100% attendance in school, like LPG subsidy, an appropriate amount will go to the mothers account.
This will encourage the children to go to the school atleast and rest all will fall in place and beggars number will start declining
comm.1:ihave a very big plan to make the beggars of india earn their own money through work.this has a lot of advantages.some of them are:1. swach bharath can be achieved, indian percapita income may increase, employment may also increase and poverty will decrease.for this i have a lot of linked plans.and plz mr.PM,when you, read my plansand if you get any doubts or find any demerits, plz try to bring to my notice. my plan will contnue in comm.2
can see in small towns and cities many beggars& street dogs sleeping at the corners of walkways, where many people spit, urinate etc. Very sad,we should provide shelter to them. But at the same time, we must not encourage people who are lazy-not willing to work. So,begging to get money easily. Some beggars are even use abusive words if someone don't give them money. Once we provide sufficient rehabilitation measures to beggars,we must effectively implement our existing law, which prohibiting begging.
We may extend another version of 'Food to work' especially designed for beggars. People who are not fit (Physically challenged, abandoned elders) to work are disadvantaged people government must take care of them by other means. (like providing petty shops, free medical treatments, loans etc).
we have to provide plenty of employment opportunities without any form of discrimination for the 3rd sex people who are begging money in trains. we must advice to people, not to look them down.
Beggars in villages or small towns can be rehabilitated as described below:
1. They can be grouped to form a co-operative and run business like road side plantation of economical tress like mangoes, coconut, wood yielding trees.
2. The beggar's co-operative can be provided with cattle for milk production and do business and also it will help to feed their own family.
3. Employ them in small industry as labour if industry is available locally. In-hand training should be provided by govt.
Beggars in cities & towns can be rehabilitated as pointed below:
1. Employ them in municipality maintenance work like sewage/drain cleaning, road side cleaning (can be employed or connected with PM's Swachh Bharat initiative)
2. Beggars can be engaged in maintenance and fishing (fish production) in public water body under government property if available and maintaining gardens,
3. Roadside plantation or of economical trees like mangoes, coconut, trees those provides furniture woods.
Sir, Keep an eye on western world media, like BBC, CNN, CBC... for making movies and documentary in India because you watch any documentary on youtube and you will see negative image of India. They do not show good image of India but just show filth and poverty. Please make good documentary of India and post on youtube to counter negativity with positivity for bright future of India.
Beggers are the only road block for tourism industry. Bring in system by providing basic need like food and cloth. Involve them in construction industry and later on provide them houses.
No body wants to beg. However some unfortunate india have to. There are some who have made it a business. Punishing these elements will be a good start. For the beggars themselves, we need them to build our infrastructure, ports, rails, roads and airports. This way we are providing employment, getting them into the tax structure and providing a sense of pride.
Free ready made food Campus for helpless and destitute should be formed . Here they should be given good ready food free, health of destitute should be taken care of , person should be trained for some job , children should be given free compulsory education. And when such camp are formed people should be directed not to give money to beggars and all beggars should be put in the camp with all facilities. All facilities should be linked to Aadhar based including attendance.
