Employability of our students is a matter of concern. At the other end of the spectrum is need for greater investment in research. Industry academia linkages are essential to meet both these ends. While we have various efforts in this direction, these have not fructified as expected. We need to find out how and what is needed for a more fruitful partnering.

linking industries and schools will b a boon for those students, who cant afford expensive professional courses. Suppose an industry makes transformers, it can teach the same technology in the schools for class ix students. Not only the theory part, but the students should also be given practical lessons wherein they will be taught to make a virtual transformer. May be only a few will opt for it, but these few will be no less skilled than thos qualified engineers workin in transformer indstris

Now the students choose their subject after class x. Let them do it after class viii. ask the students of class xii science how much do they remember about ii world war or the battles of panipat. similarly the students of humanities don remember archimedes principle or newton's third law. if they choose their subject after viii, they will have two more years to hone their subject.

Industrial groups should be encouraged to set up their own schools, colleges or universities such that they not only teach them subjects specific to their needs but also absorb them in their own industrial houses and along with that they can make the students ready for the future with current, up-to date and practical skills and knowledge. These institutions can also encourage free education and only when the student does not join the parent industry, he/she can pay the tuition for a certificate

I THINKS INDIA HAS A LOT OF UNUSED LAND,LAND WITH THE GOVT, AND ALSO THE LAND WITH THE PRIVATE PEOPLE WHICH THEY ARE REMAINING UNUSED DUE TO LABOUR PROBLEM SCARCITY OF LABOUR IN AGRICULTURE BUT ENOUGH RESOURCES LIKE WATER AND YIELDING FACILITIES TOO,IF THE GOVT THINKS AND FORMS A COMITTEE AND ASK ALL THE PEOPLE WITH UNUSED LAND TO REGISTER WITH THEM AND THEY CAN PROVIDE THEM WITH A INCOME,THEN IT WOULD BE BENEFICAIL FOR THE COMMON PEOPLE,LABOUR CLASS AND INTURN CAN PROVIDE A SAFETY TOO.

This Year the CBSE results have announced very very late. All the other state boards have announced their results before CBSE.Due to this the CBSE Students find it difficult to gets seats in professional colleges, As all the seats has been filled by the state board. This would automatically deny employment to CBSE students. Even class 10 students find it difficult to get admission in good state board schools. So, it would be better if CBSE announces it's results earlier.

Industres should adopt the number of vacancies for ex say 10 jobs available in a company that many students it should adopt and pay for the fee and books for the students and take trainees starting level0 for tenth students, level1 for degree students etc.... there by industries will participate directly involve in their future employees from early stages.

As a Technical person (by profession I am an automation engineer), i always feel there is lack of our technical education (theoretical) & actual industrial work culture (practical), there should be linkage some where, as per my personal experience there is not more then 25% of my technical study is help full to me in my job, so there is major scope of upgrade technical education with reference of Indian industrial working methods,
