The Government of India issued guidelines for the promotion of payments through cards and digital means on 29th February, 2016. The guidelines can be seen (here). A Committee was also constituted under the Chairmanship of Shri Ratan P Watal, Principal Advisor, NITI Ayog and Former Finance Secretary with key industry stakeholders, RBI and concerned Government Departments to review medium term measures necessary to promote the digital payment system in the Country. The Committee’s report can be seen here.

The Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India invites public Comments / suggestions on the report. We invite you to read the report and provide your valuable feedback and suggestions by 11th January 2017. The final decision on the Report will be taken after considering the comments/suggestions received on the Report.

Build Free Wi-Fi across the county through cell phone towers so everybody make digital payment in nook and corner of the country. No one should lack of mobile signal or connection out since payment should be based on this purely.

Amount up to 5000 transfer by mobile network. No need internet connection. Like as bsnl balance transfer from one mobile to other mobile.

7, People who are running small scale industries should not accept cash from their customers. 8, All the school fees and college fees should be collected only through DD or cheque. 9, Restrict the organizations to depsoit higher amount in their organization account.

1, Restrict cash deposit in bank for savings account. per week only 10K. 2, Bank should not accept cash for Demand Draft it should be deducted only through bank account 3, Demand Draft cancellation should refund only in the Bank account. 4, All the higher transactions above 10000 should happen only through cheque,DD, Netbanking or card swipe. 5, People who own shops, supermarket, etc they should deposit the collections only in bank, they can provide cheque or nettransfer to vendors
