In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open ...
the Smart City Framework and the different verticals
of public private partnership modules in one roof. This framework has researched and doing the report from the bottom level of
municipalities, we are taking feasibility report from local bodies how can spend money to develop all types of infrastructure and
creations of wealth to municipalities. Please looking all the municipalities in India are gold eggs because all types of people are
living in towns, so they work with us prior to
Sir, while we are trying our best sometimes our best try may turn into worst, Our forward steps may be wrong, as in competitive examination of multiple-choices three wrongs are allowed out of four, so as per this formula 75% mistakes are allowed. So we have to Keep our steps with trying for best and best cannot try for worst.
Draft policy link is showing 404 error page. Can this be corrected please
Sir,I'm facing 1 problem. Since i got transferred to Madhyapradesh frm Maharashtra, i'll've to take NOC for my 2wheeler frm MH and re-register my vehicle in MP.Tentative cost in RTO every1 knows.Bt if again i got transferred to some other location after 1-2 years again i will have to do same hectic activity.
My suggestion is to have a online facility whr 1 can register that he'll be using his vehicle in particular city & pay minimum possible SAY road tax of dat state & get certify to drive.
Govt.is focusing on “Digital India”. There should be proper back up system for “digital continuity” in case of any disaster/cyber attack keeping the secrecy/privacy of data in place as in case of Estonia. Once most of the Govt. services are digitally available with a common AAdhar Number, the exchange of common database among departments will become tricky & complex. So the data & network to be well organized, documented, standardized on a common platform of o/s & software enabling continuity.
People from across India can utilize Open Application Programming Interface (API) policy to make Mobile Application to involve people in Government activity like Swachh Bharat , Public Grievance Public Redressal System , Real Time Job Data and many such activities promoted by Government.
Today I visited the Indian Meteorological Dept website, and was trying to check some data on the temperature, climate change, rainfall , etc. I was surprised to see that the IMD was charging money and the data is available to only few Research institutes. My question is, shouldn't this data be open to any Citizen of India, as all the expenses of IMD is met by the Taxes paid by Indians?
Also, if we need an Open API, atleast such data should be open to all India Citizens.
Open APIs is a good initiative, a system needs to be framed where any person with an authorized API key will be able to access the data and processes. Create the system and hand over the apis to the entrepreneurs let them work for you.
To create a good API the following are important
- a good broken down model that can be inherited and extended on a use can basis
- a common intercommunication standard
- basic api access with advanced api access depending on api privledge
and many more.
Most of the APIs should be easily utilizable like the way Google is doing. They have made available most of their functionality through the Open APIs with proper documentation.
