Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

There are 2 concerns: 1. The security. If the documents go into wrong hands then it could be detrimental. Identity hack is the worst of all. 2. We need to make all departments digital to accept the softcopy documents. One of the biggest concern of a common man is piles of paper that he needs to submit at all the govt offices. Thanks

Dear sir, My humble request is that please make sure before you introduce it it has the maximum securiy so the nobody else other than the user can access to the documents saved.Or the documents saved there should be given the value of photocopy signature (this watermark should have max. security).Then please make sure that it is handled by peoples who are really interested in updating the security and other issues as soon as the problems reported, if all these things happen than it can beaccept

After the design has changed it is not working.Earlier I was dad digitally signed. presently can't able to log in, upload ect.some thing went wrong

I think Digital locker allow to add other document like other cloud applications (dropbox) and also easy drag and drop applications for mobile as wall as pc need to be more user friendly also need more social media marketing and awarenesses for this

DigiLocker: RTI docs should be made available in here All Gazatte Notifications to be synced with archives All Confidential[classification level] and Non-Confidential and RTI queries to be digitzed and made available with easy payment & even mobile deduction options All Governments work-Village,Corporation to State orders and Addendum,Corrigendum and Amendments to be made available in that make it the largest source for Indian Govt Docs, Available only for Indians-Make it secure

SIGN UP PROBLEM: Digital Locker sign up problem,OTP is not coming on registered mobile no.hence I have cross checked with Aadhar,its linked condition. FEEDBACK : USER NOT ABLE TO GIVE FEEDBACK,CHECK THE SYSTEM BY TRYING.WHEN I ENTERED 10 DIGIT MOBILE NO,ERROR MESSAGE CAME PHONE NO SHOULD BE SMALLER THAN 10 DIGIT & DIVIDABLE BY.....WHAT IS THIS? dIGITAL INDIA MAI AISI LAPARWAHI?????

My suggetion to reduce Black money by exchangeing mony after a certain interval. Corupt person are storing mony in form of note or coin if goverment issue new form of note by exchangeing olds with pan no then corupt person cannot store the money in form of note and he can not store the money by this way we can diclose the blck money easyly.

Link to both issuing authority & document required authorities so that whenever a user applies for any certificate the issuing authority after getting required information online issues certificate which automatically saved in user account . When user applies for any service/jobs/schemes the user permit the required documents which automatically downloaded to required department and application processed and service provided to user online.

Digital locker site and many other government sites and educational sites should be free in free WiFi provided by the govt. They should have special data packs for only these sites at very affordable prices so that a common man can easily access it

While going through DigiLocker,I noticed that,there is option to link DigiLocker account to Facebook & Google account, Probably it's not a very good idea. these companies are very popular, however they share a history of providing data to foreign Govts. In wake of US NSA events, it is very much needed that Govt. services which hold critical data,should be isolated from such companies. probably we have taken measure for the same as well. but a single failure could cause immense damage.
