Digital Locker- it should not just be a website available on the cloud. It should be an initiative.It should not just be made to upload documents , but also verify it through the government records.For example as soon as Xth or XIIth results are declared, the marksheet and pass certificate should be uploaded automatically as your Xth or XIIth enrollment no. would be linked by your aadhar number.Moreover, verification of the documents should take less than a month to validate.

For this scheme of Digital India to be successful. All Digital lockers will have to be centrally registered by one authority. Just like Aadhar is. If Individual banks start doing it , there will be repetitiveness. Besides the most important issue which the PM also indicated during the Digital India week launch is that of Cyber Security. How will people trust their important documents being kept at different places without fear of being Hacked.Once this emotional issue is solved,people will join.

In d wake of recent hacks by the Anonymous wind of India , @opindia_revenge , our priority must be on security and privacy of user data. One must not see these hackers as there enemies they are actually pointing out the loop holes and areas of improvement, so my only suggestions are:
All governemtn sites must have passed security audits and there reports must be made public after patch works on them.
Secure Storage of user data must be given the highest priority.

I think digilocker will stand out as the corner pillar for transformation of India if implemented properly.My suggestions-
1)Partially increase the doc size limit from 1MB to 2MB so that scanning or taking pictures from mobile camera itself becomes possible.
2)Make E signing of docs easier,OTP signing fails.(own exp)
3)Introduce Digilocker as instrument for uploading docs at all gov enterprise like Aadhar,Voter id updation to increase its demand, need and acceptability for ease of business

digital locker should become more efficient if it is checked by the team and issue a digital certificate against it then it is very useful

When I upload a doc, Authorities must verify these docs authenticity and issue "digital document" to citizens. Private and government(Passport office, RTO, banks, telecom etc.) should accept these digital docs and don't require any physical copies. If this is not implemented, DigitalLocker is useless (atleast for me)

to make india to digital india is great thinking , but there is so many problem like network problem , network cost,etc first of all you have to remove this . and also we (india) dont has its own server ,so may its dangerous to save our documents on other countery server.so please once thinking on that issue . shree narender modi you are great leader our ill country need your type more leader but i salute you.

Digital locker is very safe method for document safety this is very good idea for increasing our technology digital India changes our technology

The idea of creating a digital locker is very innovative but it also has some major disadvantage, such as if all the document of every citizen is on cloud then it would be very easy for any gang of hackers to break the security and steal the documents or just leak the personal information regarding any document.
