Ideas to reduce diversion in LPG & Kerosene

A huge amount of Govt. money is spent on subsidy of petroleum products. The Govt. had to spend Rs. 1,39,869 crore on account of subsidy on petroleum products in the year 2013-14. ...
There was heavy wastage of vegitables and food items in hyderabad hotels. We should encourage them to produce the Gas by utilising these wastage resources at their business entity to reduce the shortage of Gas Cylinders to some extent.
1) Stop giving gas & kerosene subsidy in all cities. Instead give one time subsidy for buying electric stoves or free installation of CNG gas pipes (not free cng)... Infact stop all subsidies in cities, mainly in over crowded cities.
2) In rural or semi urban areas give subsidy directly in customer bank account and also give them subsidy to install solar power panels on &/ near their home.
Give up subsidy on gas is a very good initiative. But it should be top down process.
I hope govt have min data
Exclude for :
MPs,MLAs,Civil servants,Group 1 cadre,Judges,lawyers,Industrialist,
all the people who earn above 50K per month..
Then the number would be min 20,00,000 across india..then you look for valunteries...
Do you think a person having 12 lakh car really need subsidy..Based on certain parameters we can easily identify.then the subsidy sum will meet thousands of crores..
Many of the users in villages and most in cities do not use kerosene in kitchen or for lightening. The subsidized kerosene meant for them is diverted for adulteration. The govt can ask all Ration card holders if they need kerosene or not. I am sure most of them will say no as it is hardly of any use these days. Stopping supply to them will reduce subsidy burden and reduce supply for adulteration. This way, it will be purely optional leaving no room for politics and resentment
Today in India, on all the national highways we have tolls after every 35-40 KMs. Using gas subsidy money in removing these tolls would inspire everyone. If most of the tolls are covered then govt can use that money to do some other good activities like donating Buses to that metro city or creating garden in that city etc which is eye catching / noticeable etc. This will surely increase the popularity of government.
Respected PM,
I like initiative of 'Give it up' LPG subsidy. To increase the give ups number, I have an idea. Every person looks for his/her benefit after give up. Lets take e.g. If total give ups are 10 Lac from Pune region then the saving around 200Cr. add similar amount by center govt. This will help to stop 4 toll nakas of 100Cr each around Pune each year. This will help to reduce tolls for everyone & will increase popularity of BJP in that area. This is eye catching activity for common man
unique customer care service number.
unique id generation.
I have a suggestion. Track down the piped gas subscribers and first thing to do is remove them from the list of subsidiaries. It will automatically add few lacs of consumers instantly. And this way crores of rupees can be saved giving by way of subsidy.
