A huge amount of Govt. money is spent on subsidy of petroleum products. The Govt. had to spend Rs. 1,39,869 crore on account of subsidy on petroleum products in the year 2013-14. As, the indigenous availability of crude Oil and LPG is limited, these are imported in huge quantities to fulfill the demand of the country.  As Govt. provides domestic LPG and PDS Kerosene on subsidised price, this results in huge subsidy burden on Govt. Due to presence of dual pricing(subsidized and non-subsidized) in LPG and SKO, there is a diversion of subsidized LPG and Kerosene into commercial usage. Although Govt. has taken several initiatives to reduce this diversion of subsidized LPG and PDS Kerosene, public participation is solicited to suggest ways for reducing diversion in LPG and PDS Kerosene.

You are invited to suggest ideas to reduce diversion and the subsidy burden on account of LPG and Kerosene.

Why the rich people are getting or mis-using the deserving people's share of subidised LPG or other products. This will keep on going as it is & the vast gap between Rich &Poor will keep on increasing, until & unless the formulated policies or the plans which Govt. makes for the benefit of the weaker section of the society is applied to the best possible manner. I request to the Govt. Please frame the best Policy for this & keep checking & correcting the progress every month. Har Har Mahadev.

Step 1 : Pl cut all subsidies and supply the all items in open market itself. Particularly, no ration shops in the country. Step 2. Identify the people or family who are poor and they are elegible for subsidy for all goods like fuels, food etc.,. Step 3. Deposit the subsidy amount in bank inter connected with Aadhar card on monthly basis. Yes, this is a temporary solution for now. The permanent solution is: 1. Encourage Solar, Bio gas usage 2. Public transport like metro rail in all cities.
