Application of established technology like Geo-Textiles in bitumen roads laying for road longevity and good road transportation
Strict prohibition of hoardings and fixing of flex banners in the City for best practices in road transportation free from distraction and accidents
To immediately develop all master plan roads of hundred feet, eighty feet and sixty feet roads from north to south of Kakinada City for easing the traffic on the Main Road and for all round development of City
Complete review of the existing traffic islands and statues and relocation of statues as per such survey for better traffic mix and movement
Municipal Corporation and the Proposed SpecialPurpose (SPV) ofSmart City should make the Railways run daily shuttle trains to and from Kakinada and Samalkot in order to provide the earlier rail connectivity and thereby reduce road transportation and burning of fossil fuels
Utilisation of Local FM Radio for spot information relay on road congestion or blockade to car users as well as through Public Address System by Traffic Police to others
Bus shelter maintenance, protection and display of information through the sponsorship of Corporate Houses through their annual Corporate Social Responsibility scheme
Zebra Crossing should be provided for safe pedestrian road crossings and lane markings with illumination on all roads for proper navigation and guidance for the smooth movement of traffic
