The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

RESPECTED SIR, JAI HIND, Sir,my suggestion is in the field of medicines , daily so many people are dying due to duplicasy of medicine. there are 188 type of medicine which are sufficient for every treatment. Available medicines in the mkt is more then three thousand with various names & rates. why we should make a law that one tabs is to be made under one name by various company with one formula and one rate, That leaves on the customers which company he likes most. thank

Govt needs to look into Health Insurance providers whose list of 'not eligible' is always longer than 'eligible'. Why isnt eye care including cataract surgery etc not covered by many? Is that cosmetic in nature? Good eye-sight is of paramount importance

YOU HAVE TO BE ALIVE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH India ranks 2 in number of road accident deaths with official count of 2.5 Lakh people killed in 2013. Most of those killed are bread winners of their families whose death will create a huge irreversible loss for their family members. Sadly these deaths can be prevented by strict government rules. Central government can pass a G.O. asking states to enforce basic traffic rules which can help cut down this unnecessary loss of lives by at least 50%.
