The government should establish ultra small branches of post offices in each small village of our country. This will give access to postal service to every citizen of our country.Post offices can be more accessible than banks in remote areas of our country,so they can be chained to financial inclusion schemes like 'PRADHAN MANTRI JAN DHAN YOJANA'.Post offices should also provide loan to very small scale and small industries in remote and semi remote areas of our country.

Sir, DOP has wide network.Post offices can utilized as single window for welfare schemes of centre, state, as a provider for all kind of services like flipcart, snap deal and amezon even for public distribution schemes, as LP gas distributor, as service provider to farmers to sell their products etc. Then rural POs should work for full time with uniform working hours with latest technological infrastructure. And this may act as single window grievances cell on behalf of govt & solved by govt.

Post offices should have own transportation from state capital to another state capital, state capital to dist HQ, dist HQ to villages/towns. In the place of 5 one man post offices one full fledged PO should be opened with all kinds of transactions. Postcards/ILCs should abolished and only standardised covers designed and those also should be given one barcode with at least Min.price of 10/- within state and 15/- for other states upto 50grms.Then income of PO will also be increased. isn't it.

a. provide option for 3rd parties to partner and act as collecting agents for commission similar to courier. This enables that simple sending/receiving of post is accessible for longer time. b. provide hand-held machines to each postman. enable customers to raise pickup request. c. have post-box service(more so in cities) that could purchased(leased). This would enable people who keep moving. They could be notified, and items picked up at convenient time.

a. bring post-offices online. It should be possible to track post-office deposits online. b. reduce the paper work. Every time I visit the post office for my account, the delay in service is because they have to manually update in register. Often this is erorr prone often missing entries and causing hardship and tough to convince unless the same employee is at desk. c. a white paper needs to brought out as to why "courier" service is preferred compared to post in cities.

Create and application in mobile along with a web portal, which can provide facilities like buying first day cover or stamps, send and receive letters, money orders, inlands etc. Formats of various letters and forms could be saved so as to ease the user. The enormous work force and outreach can be utilised for various government schemes, like adhar ,census ,etc.

Why don't you use post office's vast and strong network to distribute and deliver groceries, vegetables, fruits like edible items. It will control transport service provider monopoly and bring down the prices of daily use essential products.
