If more post-office or small collections centre are opened so one can reach out to them easily.
just like courier companies opened there number of centres which you find out very easily and you nearby areas similar is the case if Govt plan to open more and give services like private then I am sure its going to be huge hit again as in older days.

1- Whenever we think about modernize any Govt department why the first thought comes of doing it privatization?? Rather we should adopt the processes and techniques followed by them to compete with private players.
2- We can make out India-Post fully digital like private courier, where we can track all post and consignment online.
3- Recently I enrolled for my Adhaar card and got message that it has been dispatched via Post but did not received it yet.

Ajeet Pandey-India Posts have one of the largest postal networks in the world. Why cant this be leveraged with a partial privatization of India Posts especially with DHL. They can form a consortium to serve the remotest corner of India. Post Office Savings bank has also one of the largest networks in rural India.if i want growth and better work for indian postal first start all work in rural areas.

Govt may take initiative to assist postal deptt for making progress in life insurance and general insurance sector. Presently PLI scheme of Indiapost has proved to be a healthy revenue mode for the deptt. Govt may encourage mass advertisement for such schemes and include other financial plans through Indiapost for achieving social goals.

Post Office Savings bank has also one of the largest networks in rural India. Why not involve in Pradhan Mantri Dhan Jan yojana? If need be Post Office Savings Bank can be turned into a full fledged bank by awarding a Bankinfg licence or tie up with State Bank of India.

The Railway Minister is now inviting all, such as State Govts, Corporations,Municipalities,
NGOs, Different Central & State Departments to assist Railways in improving its services on the ground. Why not explore Railways assisting all others by using its assets and earn revenue ? For example in Chennai MRTS so many Railway Stations newly built with lot of space
getting ruined. Let them out immediately to Post Offices etc who are searching for space and earn income. Expedite all these eye-sore

I wish that the Government must lay much focus on the general welfare and development of the Postal Assistants or postal employees. It is my contention that only due to dissatisfaction and lack of motivation, many postal employees are gradually proceeding on Voluntary Retirement, since the Postal Department does not offer much scope for further development or recreation. It is a grinding and repetitive job.

I would once again would like to highlight here that the Postal assistants are being violently thrusted and imposed forcefully with the new operating systems like Finacle and McCamish, for which either the post offices and even the officials are not being fully prepared enough. I am damn sure that all the CBS post offices as well as the working clerical staff will definitely face adverse working conditions in the near future.
