For delivering various Citizen centric services and furthering the reach of Financial Services including Insurance, the Government of India has set up a Task Force to examine and recommend efficient utilisation and upgradation of the Post Office Network, enabled with Digital/Internet Connectivity to rural Offices and outpost areas enabling reach of different services in rural areas. This Network is also being viewed as a distribution channel to retail various schemes and services of Central Government, State Government and Private Sector Players.

Through this discussion the Department of Posts (Ministry of Communications & Information Technology) seeks suggestions on the following:

•    To provide efficient postal network and points of presence [particularly in rural areas and small towns] to Central Government Ministries / Departments, State Governments [including Local Self Government] and private sector players for delivering various citizen-centric services, scheme, products to the people.
•    To further the role of Post Offices in Financial inclusion, including Insurance products
•    The infrastructure requirements of the Post Offices and the Postal Network
•    To make the Post Offices financially viable

Last date for sending your suggestions is 30th November, 2014.

Post has got excellent geographical coverage across India, this strength has to be leveraged and Jan Dhan Yojana using latest technology should be rolled out through post offices. Today, private banks like ICICI are using technology to increase banking, their technology should be leveraged to provide Post with the latest technology. A partnership between best technological bank and Post will be a win win situation.

Post has excellent opportunity to be part of jan dhan yojna but lax attitude in opening accounts for savings and other services creates harassment to public.

(part 2)आ ही जाता ।इस घटना पर हार्दिक श्रध्दांजली। अब आप दक्षेष बैठक नेपाल से वापस आ गये और आस्ट्रेलिया दौरे पर सूझाव अभी भी माँगे जाने से यह साबित होता है कि हम लोगों द्वारा भेजे गये तीन हजार सुझावों कोई नहीं पढ़ता है हमे तो त्रिसहस्त्र बुद्धी देव की तलाश है जो कम से कम फोरम का Discussion तो समय दौरान ही बंद कर सके जिससे यह बात छिपी रहे कि आप पढ़ते नहीं। राजेश कुमार ढाबावाला पूरावाला कानपुर।

(part 3)Sir G, पाक प्रधानमंत्री श्री नवाज़ शरीफ जी मे वास्तव मे हमे शरीफाना अंदाज़ महसूस होता है लेकिन वह एक स्तम्भ है यह बात समझने की हमारी ज़िम्मेदारी बनती है पाकिस्तान की सरकार हमे अपनी लगती है ऐसा हमने अपने प्रथम पत्र 26/05 को 1NCC के नाम से आपको भेजा था और पाक प्रधानमंत्री को निमंत्रण के साथ internal मना करने के लिए भी अनुरोध किया था जिससे शतरंज की चाल दोनों तरफ से सिर्फ हम ही चले लेकिन 50% marking ही हम दे पाए और 12 महीने पीछे हो गए।अरे हिन्दू और मुसलमान एक दूसरे की छाया है जो बायाँ का दायाँ ही दिखाती है हमतो बचपन से ही परछाई देखने को प्रतिबंधित है

(part 4 ) लेकिन छाया को प्रकृति भी समाप्त नहीं कर सकती सिर्फ ज्ञान का प्रकाश के साथ विकास ।कलयुगे संघे शक्ति के साथ वसुधैव कुटम्बकम यह प्रकृति के मन की बात। राजेश कुमार ढाबावाला पूरावाला कानपुर ।

(part 5)Sir G सीमाये सुरक्षित सारे चुनाव सुरक्षित 4-1/2 वर्ष सुरक्षित- विजयी अभियान प्रारम्भ है ।वास्तव मे यह अच्छे राजा का कार्य है। जून प्रथम सप्ताह 1NCC के नाम से आपको लिखे पत्र मे Kanpur मे 40 km पश्चिम - 70 रेलवे क्रासिंग जीटी रोड का यह भाग कानपुर नगर के साथ दस सांसदीय क्षेत्रों का ह्रदय विदीर्ण करता है लोग जान देने पर अमादा है।

(part 6)आजाद भारत से अभी तक मरियानी पुलिया कानपुर से पश्चिम 30 km पर आज भी single truck निकलता है भला हो कानपुर शहर के रहने वालों का-कि ईश्वर पदत्व नर्क कि नई व्यवस्था मे कानपुर शामिल है सम्पूर्ण ब्रम्हांड के ऐसे सभी संत जिन्होंने पूर्व जन्म मे थोड़ी सी जो भूल की है परिणाम स्वरूप जन्म कानपुर मे हुआ है ।कोई कुछ भी करे सभी स्वतंत्र है ।निवेदन साष्टाॅग दंडवत से क्षमा प्रार्थना के साथ। राजेश कुमार ढाबावाला पूरावाला कानपुर।

Digital stamps should be issued. This is possible with the use of Barcode or QR code technology. A person should be allowed to buy a stamp online. When the payment is made a QR code image (or Barcode) can be sent to him that he can print and paste. A simple scanner can authenticate this. Simple and hassle free..!! (To start off immediately post office should sell stamps online (Flipkart))

Marketing is an important aspect in todays world. Why do people prefer courier service than a speed post.? 1. People do not know about speed post 2. The post office locations are few where as every local shop has courier service. So Speed post should be re-branded as "Postal courier Service" and have tie-ups with small shops to collect couriers. Charge higher price and deliver swiftly.!
