In order to make the Indian IT Industry move up the value chain and thereby sustain its growth trajectory, India has to adopt a paradigm shift in it’s strategy for software sector by focusing to create vibrant Indian Software Product Industry, where IT Products also contribute equitably and significantly along with IT Services. Though India is well positioned to further grow in services sector, however for holistic growth, there is a need for a National Policy on Software Products that can synergise the efforts of the Government and Industry to create a robust Software Product Industry, which enables the germinating ground for large number of Software product startups, promotes development of an ecosystem encouraging R&D and innovation, opens up multitude of opportunities of access to capital and helps build and improve the domestic demand. A National Policy on Software Products aligning with other initiatives such as Start-up India, Make in India and Digital India etc. can provide the springboard for India to emerge as a global leader in this important industry.

To drive the rise of India as a Software Product Nation and synergy with the ITeS sector, so as to place India as a leading player as creator, producer and supplier of innovative Software Products globally thereby enabling the IT Industry to sustain growth momentum, a Draft Policy is under consideration by this Ministry.

Ministry seeks suggestions and feedback from the public and other stakeholders on the draft before forming the policy.

The last date for sharing your inputs on the Draft National Policy on Software Products is December 9, 2016.

Dear sir kya aap government ki jo yojnaye logo tak pahuchane ke liye ek app bhartiya yojna naam se bana kar yojnao ka kaise labh uthana hai kya document chahiye date kab tak hai. Sabhi chize us app k through pata chal jaye. Aur har state government ki yojna k liye alag page inbuilt ho. Aisa kar ke aap jamini star par yojnao ka implementation kar sakte hai jisse desh ke log yojna ka labh bina sarkari daftar k chakkar lagaye bagair le sakte hai

(a) Scope of the scheme be limited to the executable area only with end-to-end (b) Software be developed with configurable rooms only, no room for customization (c) keep in mind that rule should be changed not the Software.

1. First Things First: Define what is “Software Product”.
2. Create “Software Product” park in line of “Software Technology Park”. And incentivize these companies.
3. Form a separate body (completely separate from NASSCOM) which represents “Software Product” companies.
4. Create strong IPR legal framework to protect Indian Software Product’s ideas and technologies.
5. Encourage the buyer (specially end-consumer and Small Medium Business) to buy legal licensed software rather than buying ille
