A regulatory body should be instituted for framing guidelines on development of software products/applications. E.g. all banking related products should be examined/verified by domain experts. The regulatory body should lay down the guidelines for RPF while acquiring software and all public/private sector organizations should follow the same. The regulator should control the pricing and AMC Charges.

The high pricing of software products for personal use are encouraging people to go for pirated versions and inturn affecting the revenues of many indegenous software companies. Regulations on pricing of softwares would help in affordable genuine softwares and would help encouraging genuine transactions on software products.

1. Creation of a centralised portal for capturing comprehensive details of companies dealing in software development in India and their details should be available in public domain

Creation of a regulatory body

All govt dept both central & state should have clear flow chart in regard to process related to public in their respective website. All process should have timeframe and map to each responsible officer. This should be relate to each officer performance evaluation and according to this they should get their promotion & increament. Getting govt job should be base on qualification/economical back ground and then promotion should be on the basis of performance only. There should be regular training.
