“The draft is a great step forward. Please strengthen it by adding mandatory audits, clear penalties for non-compliance, and explicit provisions for mental health and sensory accessibility. Also, involve persons with disabilities at every stage, from planning to monitoring, to ensure truly inclusive spaces.”

The Draft Accessibility Standards are a welcome step towards a truly inclusive built environment, aligning with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Emphasizing universal design principles is crucial, extending benefits beyond just PwDs to the elderly, children, and even those with temporary mobility issues. Suggestions: * Enforcement Mechanism: Clearly define robust enforcement and penalty mechanisms to ensure compliance. * Regular Audits: Mandate periodic accessibility audits of existing and new structures. * Training and Awareness: Implement comprehensive training for architects, builders, and urban planners on these standards. * Focus on Sensory & Cognitive Disabilities: While physical accessibility is covered, ensure adequate provisions for sensory (visual, hearing) and cognitive disabilities, including clear wayfinding, tactile indicators, and quiet spaces.

Rural areas must have facilities of Municipal waste disposal . Plantation must be done on mass levels to work as carbon sink for reducing the impact of CO2 emissions, Plantation survival rate monitoring is of utmost importance. The most important thing is that to taught people that our Planet Earth has Finite Resources not Infinite so we all need to curtail our consumption to achieve Sustainable Development and also to achieve Sustainable Development Goals by 2030
