The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MSJE), in collaboration with MyGov, invites comments and suggestions from stakeholders and the general public on the draft accessibility standards for the Information & Communication Technology Sector. These draft standards, which identify non-negotiable rules, have been prepared to strengthen the creation of barrier-free environments in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and relevant rules.

All interested individuals are requested to carefully examine the proposed standards and submit their feedback, comments, and suggestions on the MyGov platform, ensuring that personal details are entered accurately during registration.

I would like to suggest that all government and private sector websites and mobile applications should be fully compatible with screen readers to support visually impaired users. Documents such as PDFs and Word files must also follow accessibility standards, including proper headings, alt text for images, and readable fonts. Additionally, apps should include voice assistance, high contrast mode, and adjustable text sizes to ensure ease of use for people with low vision or other disabilities.

Dear Sir,At first instance it will look like funny.These days cinema theatre business is not growing...theatres are made as wedding halls.In this situation my suggestion is,Why the light music concerts of famous music directors,available on you tube ..can not be telecast in cinema theatres...with good sound effect ppl would be interested to watch...and that too initially it can be for Sat day and sun day..Even political leaders speech can be released in theatres...even their party members will popularize it..they will enjoy too... thks and regards

Good morning sir, We have red bus app for bus ticket booking...Private bus tickets rates are prescribed by Government only..Government is only controlling it.To have a better control ,Government should introduce one buses app like red bus..wherein from booking to online payment should happen there it self...So that we can ensure tickets are not sold at enormous price. thks and regards

Honarable PM Dear Modi, have certain limits for all facities were national and citizens have a better life standard. Share awareness to parants how a child can be victim of social media in spite of having good standard living habits. put more and more adds in platforms as social media is harmfull for better living .
