Tax Credits for Accessibility Investments: Introduce tax credits for businesses investing in accessible product design, manufacturing, and infrastructure upgrades, similar to the U.S. Disabled Access Credit.
Accessibility Innovation Grants: Provide government-funded grants to encourage research and development of innovative accessible technologies and products.
Public Accessibility Ratings: Create a public platform where consumers can rate products and services based on their accessibility features, fostering competition and transparency.
Mandatory Accessibility Training for Designers: Require product designers and engineers to undergo accessibility training, ensuring inclusivity is embedded in the design process.

The draft accessibility standards for the product sector should emphasize Universal Design, mandatory user testing with diverse users, clear definitions and consistency with international standards, and a well-defined enforcement and user feedback mechanism. Key suggestions include incorporating guidelines for digital and tactile features, promoting affordability through government incentives, creating a simple rating system for accessibility, and integrating emerging technologies like AI and IoT.
