Therefore, I request that the age limit for divyang children be relaxed by at least one to two years compared to general children. In this regard, you could also seek suggestions from the Divyang Ministry and Divyang organizations to truly understand when these divyang students enroll in school

Respected Sir I would like to offer a suggestion regarding you and the Department of Education. Currently, the admission forms for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya are open. I read that the eligibility criteria regarding date of birth (May 1, 2014, to July 31, 2016) and educational qualification (5th standard pass) apply to both general and divyang (disabled) children. However, I humbly request that you make an amendment for our divyang brethren: 1) Families often realize a person has a disability later, which delays the start of their treatment. 2) Divyang children typically start school one to two years later than the average child. 3) Because they start school one to two years late, they are deprived of government educational schemes and admission examinations like these. Even though divyang children are equally intelligent and hardworking, their schooling often begins one to two years later. In such cases, these children are deprived of the opportunity to participate in such admission

Attention Ad. Shashank, @ for question in Parliament sesdion starting from 21 July, 2025 Indian railways have started "Divyang Coaches" in most of the important trains, running daily across India. However, Provision for disableds to enter these coaches by portable Ramps have been made in none of these Divyang coaches, leaving wheelchair bound disableds at the mercy of unscruplous coolies, who physicaly lift these disableds in most dangerous, undignified way into the 18 inches high coaches. This defeats the very purpose of Divyang coaches, which remain inaccessible like ordinary coaches,a serious oversight that leaves wheelchair bound unable to utilise the laudable facilities like wide berth, spacious room for wheelchairs and wherlchair accessible toilets, in the divyang coaches Despite, railways perfunctory initiative to provide portable Ramps in selected VandeBharat trains, their absence in Divyang coaches rubs salt on the wounds of wheelchair bound disableds, as it indicates availa
