C-DAC, under the guidance of The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and valuable support from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), is leading the development of digital standards for Indian languages to enable their seamless integration with the internet and emerging technologies.

As part of this effort, the “AKSHAR Document” series has been envisaged to define Coded Character Sets and Composition Rules for scheduled Indian languages. The aforesaid draft standard defines the character repertoire for Hindi, ABNF rules for permissible character combinations, and provides a reference implementation for validation.

This document will form the foundation for ensuring consistency, accuracy, and interoperability in the digital processing of Indian scripts across platforms and applications.

The document has been published by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for public consultation and is open for comments until 21st September, 2025.

It is not a disturbing co-incidence from the beginnnig till the end that stirs my amazements on this holy occassion to commomerate one of the most important landmark for INDIA from the bottom of the soil to the top of the Sky, what we see we discuss and what we discuss we build, I have learned this from IBM and I am really very happy that C-DAC under the guidance of The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology always stands beside us in different ways and helps out to learn many new things via technology and among this AKSHAR is one of the best parameters for all INDIANS and citizens who should learn and apply to be a part of it. Hindi is one of the best 2nd Language subject for me, which has helped me a lot to speak, the sweet language makes other feel it from heart of the soul and mind. Today HINDI all over in India is spreading in such a way that AKSHAR has become important for all those who are learning and basically for all those child and students, administration

I appreciate the initiative taken by C-DAC, MeitY, and DST to standardize digital processing of Indian scripts. The “AKSHAR Document” is a crucial step towards linguistic inclusion in emerging technologies. Defining character repertoires and composition rules for Hindi will ensure better interoperability, accessibility, and digital preservation of our language. I recommend expanding future drafts to include AI/NLP-readiness and compatibility with mobile and IoT platforms. This initiative will strengthen India’s digital language ecosystem and support innovation in multilingual computing.

..लेता है, naturally so कहने का ऐ तात्पर्य है के भारत के परपेक्ष मे जहा गली गली मे भाषा बदले वहा कुछ besic fix roots अक्षर ग्यान दे तो दुनिया की कोई भी language सिखने मे आसानी होगी और किसी भी age मे सीख पाऐगा even within a year or else little more may be.. अगर आजकल तो अक्षर ग्यान देना कितना आसान कर दिया है आधुनिक तकनीक ने अक्षर अलग अलग - designe या फीर कलर मे , painting या धुन के जरीऐ जैसे पहले मिट्टी मे लिखना या समंदर की रेत मे पत्ते सुखाकर पावडर बनाकर या फुल मे ढालकर फीर ऐही काम अब digital ai कर रही है अक्षर से ग्यान ग्यान से प्रगती और सबकी गती उन्नती की विकास की और फीर उसे nxt generation को सौपना फीर वो अपने ग्यान से उसे वैश्विक वैज्ञानिक..

अक्षर- रेखा line से बनते है half circle वेलांटी मात्रा , सीधी line आगे-पीछे line draw करना अब ऐ किसने कब invent किया .. don't know उसीको proper शब्द मे बोलना लिखना व्यक्त करना फीर आता है freedom of speech ..&all so अक्षर माध्यम है विचार व्यक्त करने के फीर जो बोल नही सकते वो sine से बात करेगे और जो देख नही सकते वो दुसरो के माध्यम से या tool use करके फीर पढे लिखे नही पर वो भी ग्यानी हो सकते है काला अक्षर भैस बराबर ऐ 1हद तक ही ठिक है education से पहले ईन्सान तो बोलता है ही न मतलब वे सिर्फ नकल करता है सिखने के लिए पहले बोलना सीखना पडता है फीर अक्षरग्यान या समझ आती है बच्चा family society आसपास देखकर react होता है या यु कहे बीना कुछ सीखाऐ वो आदते..

An akshara can be a vowel, a consonant, or a combination of a consonant with an inherent vowel.Understanding aksharas is key to developing literacy in many Indian languages that use these scripts. Teaching: Resources like "Akshar Gyan" (Hindi alphabet knowledge) are designed to introduce young children to Hindi alphabets to build a strong foundation in the language, as seen in books.

AKSHAR is a digital coding system for hindi and other language.it helps to develop hindi software for doing work on digital platform.first point is to develop hindi key board for smooth working.second hindi software application should be develop for their use it.third autometic hindi font will be develop for better use.
