The youth of India are the torchbearers of tomorrow, fueling the nation’s growth with their creativity, skills, and innovative mindset. The participation of youth, in addition to the demographic division we enjoy, will be crucial as we gear up to emerge from the shadow of global pandemic repercussions to build an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

The Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi gave a new mantra to the youth last year - ‘Skill, Reskill and Upskill’ to remain relevant in the rapidly changing business environment and market conditions.

The passion of youth is celebrated around the world on July 15 in the form of World Youth Skills Day to stress the strategic importance of equipping youth with employment, quality work, and entrepreneurship skills.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship invites creative ideas and suggestions from the youth to propel India as the ‘Skill Capital’ of the world.

The last date to submit your entries is 17th September 2021.

While we should rejoice at the huge increase of 20.1% (YoY) on the GDP growth, one should realise that we are still below pre- Covid levels. Attention is required at the lower levels of the income pyramid. That is where reduction/losd of income has led to contraction in spending, causing a vicious circle that needs to be tackled immediately. People have become used to spending less than before because they are afraid they may lose jobs. More release of funds to lower levels is required.

Government shall first start promoting Skills as Skills, because at present there are large number of Skills which in to the minds of the people is a labour and not a Skill. Such Skills need to be promoted as Special Skills first. Due Respect to be given to the people having and wanting to have these Skills, this in itself will help us take more people taking interest in possession special Skills. examples, Tailoring, Carpentry, Painting, Cooking, Cleaning, Reparing electrical etc.

allow college exchange programs within our country during vacations. That way students can exchange knowledge, learn about other places ,improve communications and will also know of their own short comings.Just like we give university exams& mark our choices, the govt can take another exam and the students eligible for that exchange program can be allowed to go,study& know about the college in his preference list& the remaining seniors can teach the exchange students under teachers' supervision .

Govt schemes are not reaching correctly bcz of corruption in all the govt departments. Farmers are suffering fr scarcity of labour.pl give us basic amenities like good condition roads. We only expect clean corruption free govt.pl advice to the concerned dept of state to provide our demands.

The children from early schools should necessarily pick up one skill of their choice instead of some theoretical subject in which he may expertise or can pass over the knowledge based on that.

a major part of indian young population is full of talent n skill, bt still lagging behind n gets trapped in rat race of "job- naukari". it's just bcz it gets nvr educated about monitization .They are never taught hw to make money n happiness in d field f their own choice.
