My Gov was Launched on 26th July 2014, by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, for promoting participative governance in India. MyGov today has more than 26 million registered users. It has been established as Government of India’s Citizen Engagement Platform which collaborates with multiple Government bodies/ Ministries to engage with citizens for policy formulation and seeks the opinion of people on issues/ topics of public interest and welfare.

MyGov also has millions of active followers on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & LinkedIn as well as on several Indian social media platforms like Koo, Sharechat, Chingari, Roposo and Bolo Indya.

MyGov seeks to have innovative ideas and suggestions to further enhance the Citizen engagement and services.
MyGov Saathis may share Ideas and suggestions in following areas, but not limited to:

1. Look and feel of MyGov website (Improvement for User Interface)
2. User friendly navigation on MyGov.in (easy to browse and explore the features on the site)
3. New features and services for MyGov (Suggestions)
4. Improvement in User registration
5. Ideas on feedback Mechanism (how we capture your feedback)

Participants may visit the MyGov (www.mygov.in) to find information about the various on-going Do, Discuss, Disseminate activities along with insights about different schemes and programmes of various ministries.
Your contribution will help in building India as a developed Nation.

The best entries from the MyGov Saathis will get recognition from the Government of India and a chance to meet the CEO, MyGov. Also, best entries will be recognized and featured on the MyGov page.

To disseminate authentic, easy to understand and consistent information relating to COVID19, MyGov has been supporting MoHFW for communications on social media. With an objective to drive behavioural change, fighting fake news and busting myths, MyGov created a dedicated portal for COVID related information dissemination – https://www.mygov.in/covid-19. MyGov has also built a Chatbot on WhatsApp to disseminate information about Covid19 and Vaccination through a Helpdesk number 9013151515.

MyGov has time and again solicited inputs of draft policies from citizens few of those are National Education Policy, Data Centre Policy, Data Protection Policy, National Ports Policy, IIM Bill etc. MyGov have also been frequently soliciting ideas for Mann Ki Baat, Annual Budget, Pariksha Pe Charcha and many more such initiatives.

MyGov has had significant success in terms of engaging with citizens. Logos and Tagline of key National Projects have been crowdsourced through MyGov. Few Notable crowdsourced initiatives are Logo for Swachh Bharat, Logo for National Education Policy, Logo for Digital India Campaign, etc.

Almost all Government Departments leverage MyGov platform for their citizen engagement activities, consultations for policy formulation and also to disseminate information to citizens for various Government schemes and programs.

आज हमें सरकार को न्याय प्रिय बनाना चाहिए। और सभी को न्याय मिलना चाहिए। सरकार चलाने के लिए कर्मचारियों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका होती है। सबसे ज्यादा संवेदनशील कर्मचारी होने चाहिए। जनता के सबसे पहले काम कर्मचारी ही करते हैं। शासन के सारे काम पारदर्शी होने चाहिए। किसी भी प्रकार की लुकाछिपी का खेल नहीं होना चाहिए।सब कुछ जानता केलिए ही होता है। और शासन को एक जनता की शिकायतों का निपटारा जल्दी से जल्दी करना चाहिए। उसके लिए शासन को हर कार्यलय में एक शिकायत अधिकारी की नियुक्ति करना चाहिए। जिससे जनता की समस्या का तत्काल निपटारा किया जा सके।

Making citizen charter in very decentralized form is the only way to curb corruption and force babus to work. Today even leaders have become meaningless as the babus have taken India and Indian businessmen for ransom.
