**From Young Citizens to Nation Builders: A National Youth Action Mission** India’s greatest strength is its young population. Yet, millions of young Indians have ideas to improve their communities but lack a meaningful platform to turn those ideas into action. I propose a **National Youth Action Mission**—a platform where students and young people can identify real problems in their communities and work alongside local administrations, schools and civil society organizations to develop practical solutions. Every district could host a **Youth Action Challenge**, with the most impactful ideas receiving mentorship, recognition and opportunities for implementation at the state and national levels. This would make youth participation more than a slogan. It would build **leadership, civic responsibility, innovation and unity across India’s diverse communities. Do not wait for India’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders. Give them the responsibility to build India today.

Respected Sir, I would like you to speak about the responsibilities that we, as young Indians, have towards our country. Today, many young people dream of studying, working or building a life abroad, and there is nothing wrong with that. But wherever we go, we should never forget our roots or the country that gave us our opportunities. I feel that being a good citizen is not only about expecting things from our nation, but also about contributing to it. The youth can give back through our knowledge, skills, ideas, hard work and service to society. I would also love to hear you encourage young Indians to preserve their mother tongues, regional languages, traditions and cultures. In a rapidly changing world, our roots are what keep us connected to who we are. I hope you can share your thoughts on how the youth can become responsible citizens, stay connected to their roots and contribute towards making India a better nation. — Stuti

Dr Dinesh Saxena Meerut TOWARDS SWACCH BHARAT Warm regards, Sir, Prime Minister The segregation, collection and disposal of general waste has had been a big obstacle in the achievemnt of the goal of Swacch Bharat. In this respect I would like to make following suggestion; 1. Each household, institution and organization be directed to procure/ purchase or be provided against cash, two trash bins/ cans copmpulsorily, for segregaton and storage of dry disposable (BLUE) and general waste bin (BLACK coloR) wastes. 2. A bilingual sticker in English and local regional language besides signages, be pasted on the outside of bins/ cans specifying the two types of wastes. 3. The bins/ cans be put outside the establishment on pavement on fixed weekly days, say, Blue bin on Tuesdaya and Fridays and both Blue and Black bins on Fridays for emptying by local Municipal or Corporation auththority vehicle. 4. “Strengthening Legal Awareness and Access to Justice” Promote greater awareness among citizens about their basic legal rights, pre-litigation legal advice, mediation, Lok Adalats, and free legal aid, so that people can understand their remedies and resolve suitable disputes before they become prolonged litigation.
