Education on values is a must at school level so that you have motivated youth who understand the dignity of labour and are willing to put in honest hard work. Provide adequate opportunities for youth from schools/ colleges to engage in vacation work, voluntary service, to develop a well rounded personality. Make it a criteria for college admissions similar to West. Substantially increase Job- oriented training as part of mandatory CSR. Introduce active military training for youth for a period of time after school, to inculcate values of discipline and work culture to help in employment and life. Ensure adequate compensation for work with a minimum wage to meet decent living standards including appropriate housing. Corporate/ Govt. supported housing communities for all employees, schooling for children and medical care - similar to our defence forces - to ensure good standard of living and reduce inequalities. Encourage community support to share, help each other in times of need.

There are two main skills required at workplace: Technical and Personal. Both are important and goes hand in hand. Technical includes practical knowledge, having up to date information on the technical growth, know how on market players and market disruptions. Personal Skills requires the candidate to be a good team player, logical thinker, compassionate while committed to principles and values . In order to achieve this, certification courses, paper submissions in technical topics can be encouraged to gain credits as part of curriculum . Personal Skills can be developed through team activities and also involvement of the students in social service . Values have to be inculcated in the Students so that they hold on to the Principles of life while being passionate about their field of work.

In view of G-20 , All Indian embassies should coordinate with respective countries for their demand of Skilled & semiskilled workforce ,in turn they forward it to govt. centralized human resource development center/Registry ,in turn job fares with certified registered educational institutes like ITI , paramedical , medical, engineering etc. This HRD center may also hold eligibility tests designed for specific trades.

I think every college will have to provide different business models and business opportunities. Each college will have to try to build a team working for solving the needs of industries and societies.
