Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has said India’s G20 agenda will be inclusive, ambitious, action-oriented, and decisive, establishing a presidency of healing, harmony, and hope.

Automation and ground-breaking technological advancements are fundamentally changing the nature of work in more than one way. Trends such as demographic transitions and technological changes such as Industry 4.0, Web 3.0, and extended reality technology bring immense possibilities that will forever change lives. This would imply significant workplace transformations and changes in the future of work that would be beyond human imagination. And to thrive in this new ‘World of Work,’ it is vital that skilling stakeholders comprehend these new trends and capacitate the existing education and skilling ecosystems.

Therefore, basis the announcements made in the ongoing discussions in the G20 Education Working Group 2023, the key takeaways about the future of the work are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:

• The G20 Education Working Group has deliberated on pathways to make technology-enabled learning more inclusive, qualitative, and collaborative at every level.
• With the rise of automation across industries, it is imperative to mainstream foundational skills into the curriculum framework and facilitate dynamic learning over the life cycle to not only effectively measure the learning outcomes but also ensure people keep pace with the current factors of change. Education stakeholders must collaborate and focus on strengthening the foundational learning framework by leveraging technology and blended learning to ensure that students are equipped with the necessities for the future.
• The future of work is driven by the rising awareness of decarbonization and building a sustainable business, and the G20 countries recognise the importance of collective action in tackling environmental challenges as well as promoting transitions towards more flexible, transparent, and cleaner energy systems.

Respected Prime Minister, I am writing to share an idea for creating a health software that would allow individuals to track their health prescriptions from birth to death. This software would enable people to input their health information and receive a personalized prescription plan that takes into account their age, medical history, and current health status. Such a software would be beneficial in empowering individuals to take control of their health, promote preventative care, and reduce healthcare costs. Additionally, it could provide valuable data for researchers and policymakers to identify patterns and trends in healthcare. I believe that this initiative could have a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of our citizens. I would be happy to discuss this idea further and provide any additional information that may be needed. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Surya Pratap Singh

Honorable Prime Minister! India is an agricultural country. If there is an increase in the quality of agriculture, then our country will also get a lot of foreign exchange. From agricultural work.Along with agricultural work, attention should also be paid to technology.Keeping in mind the climate and soil, the state which is suitable for cultivation, the same crop needs to be taken care of.If we develop agriculture with technology, then our country will move forward very fast in both agriculture and technology. For example, Bengal is famous for the cultivation of jute. Maharashtra is famous for cotton cultivation. Uttar Pradesh is famous for sugarcane cultivation.Apart from farming, there is also a need to pay attention to the industry made from that crop. Many jute industries in Bengal are lying closed today. There is a need to restart those closed jute industries and we can send out the jute products and use them in our country so that we can bring more foreign exchange for India.

Work history and background checks are a common problem for hiring, create a centralized job database where companies or individuals can verify employment details or provide references and this results in a verified searchable resumes for employers. Basically similar to LinkedIn but with background checks & criminal record checks already done, and allowing categories such as house cleaners or cooks as well (which currently are only hired based on word of mouth, and there are often trust issues in doing so). This can result in faster match of good workers to relevant companies, resulting in better job satisfaction (to worker) and higher productivity (to company).

Workforce in future is likely to use touch screen or mobile devices, ensure that tech training is part of school curriculum. For newer industries that don't have existing skilled workforce, provide incentives to business/vocational schools to train local workers; esp. those where we currently need to import products. Improve infrastructure for telecommuting, this reduces load on transportation in cities and provides wider access to jobs in rural areas. Instead of ad hoc city building, promote planned layout of transport nodes (rail/bus stations etc.), high density housing and industry zones so work commutes are easier.
