Defence related we need equiments safety side. But overall when we consider about planets, we have only one planet to live. All cannot go to space. So we have to maintain our eco system. So I think all people in the world should realise this and need to maintain the planet. Else our eco system will go down or spoil can cause destroy to anyone or planet.
So overall maintenance is key. These are derieved from my scientific studied knowledge and experience.

Instead of 3D printing, we can show the object directly. That is 3D direct one. If we printing in paper 3D object in 2D paper?
Similarly energy related one , we can go to greenery one and most available for our country. Ex solar lights, bulb, solar panels etc. Wind energy we can go. Water energy later only. I feel when you are taking water energy I feel viscosity or water thickness of the water( originality)reducing. Need to validate this one.

In health care sector we can get doctors opinion to basic medical equipments requirements or further developments.
Similarly all scientific study or engg reached its saturation I will say. For example when natural intelligence is there why we need artificial intelligence? Physiotherapist say for any one, physical work - exercise is good.
Regardibg 3D printing, as far as my scientific knowledge, earth we can only realise 3D objects. Outside earth it 4D. That is in space.

With this basic in mind, similarly medical field artificial intelligence is risky. Medical field, needed caring, hospitality, human support. I will not likely to accept robots doing operation, If I am the doctor.

As far as my opinion, we need to think what is improvement. I will say not only economy or money wise. We cannot eat money. But whoever working in engineer or other sector needed basic facilities, ie food, dress and shelter minimum. Ours ( In India) family oriented structure. I will say instead of economy, we should be wealthy nation. Wealth = Health + money + Value.
