The Government has reviewed the existing draft National Youth Policy, 2014 and prepared a new draft National Youth Policy (NYP). The draft NYP envisages a ten - year vision for youth development that India seeks to achieve by 2030. It is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serves to 'unlock the potential of the youth to advance India'. The draft NYP seek to catalyze widespread action on youth development across five priority areas viz. education; employment & entrepreneurship: youth leadership & development; health, fitness & sports; and social justice. Each priority area is underpinned by the principle of social inclusion keeping in view the interests of the marginalized sections.

The Department of Youth Affairs seek comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP from all stakeholders.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Youth Policy

The last date to share your ideas and suggestions is 15th July, 2022.

An uneasy calm engulfs the society today! ‘Ek sihran si’, that runs across, gives goose bumps - paradoxically, not so much for the recent ghastly events but post the judicial intervention! Just a few observations from some constitutional authorities, at the stroke of an unholy moment, seem to have left the youth bereft of all fundamental rights in the world’s largest democracy. The most challenging times ever for the current government! Expectations are huge, so is hope! Best wishes!

The coming generations are born with 5G and 6G. Let them be equipped well with it. There are some brain mapping using electric pulses are possible to a certain extent, which can be used in a cloud environment, coupled using 5G/6G communication. Thus every life can be assisted using the cloud facility. This may revolutionize the way of life hence it's quality and output. The concept may be named as "Artificially Assisted Life". Please consider doing some trials, as the new communication technology can handle a plethora of data. Such an idea already found floated in a different version.

It is only subtly indicated that the population aged between 15 years to 29 years will be included in the ambit of the term ‘youth’. The total number covered under the policy is extremely sensitive to this categorization. The age-group eligible to come under the policy must be boldly and prominently enunciated in the Youth Policy.

1. Removal of reservation based on Caste but EWS can be considered for all
2. Students should be allowed to explore their interest at early age and explore same
3. We can have few competitions, bootcamps and learning platform for them to grow
4. Not only theoretical learning, practical implementation should also be taken into account
5. If they have a good skill, should be allowed to do some small jobs and earn money so that they know the worth & learn investments
6. Tax & investment should be taught at the schools itself inculcating better habits of money management
7. They should be suppressed for a particular stream and given a chance to make career in the field of their choice
8. Jobs should not be segregated on the basis of gender, caste, Color, equal opportunity for all
9. try & remove nepotism to the extent we can give opportunity to all everywhere
10. introduce heath sessions so that youth knows how to overcome stress & anxiety which is one common reason for deteriorated health

Dear Modi ji
Youth are the back bone if our Indian. Most of the population are youth only. So mould the youth shape our country. The destiny of India is in the hands of youth. At school level only, we should shape the youth by implementing desired programs regarding nationalism, scouting NSS NCC, SPC, YOGA, SPIRITUALITY, PERSONALITY DEVELOPED, etc
So change the curriculum and implement new educational policy as early as possible
