Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance or UMANG developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology was inspired from the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister, who said “e-Governance, let us think about ‘mobile first’ and thus give importance to m-Governance”.

On November 23, 2017, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi dedicated the UMANG Mobile app to the Nation with 163 services. UMANG is an initiative to build a common, unified platform, aggregating major government services of Center, States, local bodies, including important utility services, to facilitate a single point access through mobile app, anytime, anywhere. Citizens need to download just one mobile application and can access multiple services.

UMANG was envisaged to have a transformative and historic impact on the lives of citizens by allowing them to avail digital services on 24*7, without any intermediary. Connected government, effective & economic governance, citizen centricity, inclusiveness, universal access and citizen participation in governance are some of the key benefits of UMANG for citizens as well as the Government.

Within a short period of its successful running, the mobile app bagged the ‘Best m-Government Service’ award at the 6th World Government Summit held at Dubai, UAE, in February 2018. UMANG also won at the IDC Digital Transformation Awards 2018 in August, under the category Omni-experience Innovator, which recognized it as a pioneering initiative.

The ‘Digital India Jury choice award 2018-19’ and DARPG Gold award 2018-19 for ‘Excellence in providing Citizen Centric Delivery’ respectively, were also bestowed upon UMANG. Information dissemination and delivery of government services, for assisting citizens on various aspects of life & livelihood, is being taken to another level through the consolidation of many important and widely used government services onto a single unified mobile app i.e. UMANG

UMANG Team now invites your suggestions for which 3 new services to on-board from State/Central Government departments on to the UMANG Platform.

Poor people have to be right to be proper things withuot any discrimination to them. Or no garbages here and there falling it harm our enviroment or also causes diseases for us. Or no indusrial material fallling in river ; it casues diseases or for farmers ver to harm. Or very low corrupt be done. So plese stop the thing about us or also animals and plants it destroy our enviroment. Thank you

5 Trillion Economy by 2025! Your dream will become true. App based support services for all types of government functions and this will reduce the work load and corruption too. Public no need to run round and make complaints. Automatic efficiency of the departments will improve like any other country and this will be a great step to bring our country as a developed country in your regime. You name it and we have it by digital mode should be the strength of our country and this will attract many foreign investors too and downsize the real time involved in handling the workload. Please develop Online website system in Govt Hospital jobs in UP for govt employee to get NOC Online from Medical authority. Avoid this baboo cultute who ask money for issuing NOC for tourism to out of india. so this apply for NOC for governmnet employee must be ONLINE. I am struglling to get NOC in govt state department in UP state.

Hello sir! My name is Asmita Jha from UP. I am a student of class 9th in Crs girls inter college. Sir I just want to a favour from u that please dont distribute free mobile phones,laptops etc. Because.Its harms to birds to survive in air and fly because of harms rays which cannot see with eyes, and its also harms to children who are miss using of it. Sir, my suggestion is in this pandemic situation of corona virus we have to close online classes and start offline classes with roll numbers like half of students in one class will arrive school in one day and half next day And My humble request to u that please focus on education system in schools of Up in GB nagar sir I know this discussion is not for school education system but sir I just want to say u that if our school education system will be good so we have not must to use mobile phones, laptops etc. Please sir just Focus on school of different places by visit there suddenly without inform please sir its my humble request to you🙏
