Start Date :

Information and communication technology is becoming an important aspect of Agriculture sector. Till now most of IT initiatives by government were focused on website and training. ...
It is the great Idea for Kisan / Farmer to give facilities of mobile app. related to various requirement. I want to suggest that, maximum publicity and training by NGO and various local authority at grams level should be made, so that, farmer can use independently such app., further, Gram sevak, Tehsildar should be given responsibility of respective grams, also members of gram panchayat and chairman should be involved to reach maximum benifit of such app. to the farmers for maximum growth, thanks
Most of farmer did not know the correct technical process for farming. ie. they don't know which medicine should be use for which insect or when, which & how much composite should be use in which cultivation. So, I think there also be a option for 'technical assistance' in the said mobile app
No doubt It is a good concept. The app should show small clips of success story of different commodity with emphasis on mechanization, min use of Labour, fertilizers and most important water. The clip should not be boring and too long. The idea is to decrease his farming cost and make him productive. Also guiding them with weather as he is dependent.
गोधन की रक्षा के बिना किसान की आत्महत्या नहीं रुकेगी. बिना उपनिवेश से मुक्ति लिए सुराज असम्भव है.
Join Ganga to Kaveri.
Many people in the North India die due to heavy rains and flooding of the rivers, but in the south India region states literally fight for water, though we all are brothers and sisters of the same nation mother but still we fight for our existence and for our daily need.
Not only about the fight for the water even most of the Indian lands find only water during rainy season but nothing later, even this can be reduced by joining River Ganga from to River Kaveri.
My comment is on the agricultural lands been getting lesser from generations to generations by dividing from father to sons to their sons to their sons & so on at last their will remain only few acres which is good for no cultivation and increases N/A areas. so stop dividing of land less than 5 acres and increase the areas for the agriculture.
2)Add agriculture land records: as a lot of disputes over land occur between farmers which lead to court cases and hence a financial burden on farmers.this problem can be solved through this and it will also ensure more transparency.
I just went through the app's review on play store and it figures out that it is a good initiative but its weather tab not working or market prices does not get updated. So obviously there is need for improvement in what is presently being offered and to add more features as well. Here is my suggestion on other feature which we can experiment with such as:
1) Loan information: this will help them to get loan at lower interest and also a chance to know about various scheme and subsidies offered
