As part of the 'Bharat Ki Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebrations, a series of events are being organized by the Government of India to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence.

Through this MyGov activity, we aim to revisit history and acknowledge our local heroes whose struggles during the Freedom Movement have not received prominence in the conventional storyline. Let's raise awareness about our freedom struggle & the unsung heroes associated with it. It’s time that the contributions of fighters like Veer Gundandhur, Velu Nachiyar, Bhikaji Cama, etc. see the light of the day.

This is your chance to tell the story that must be told and honour the freedom fighters who have played an important role in making our nation free.

डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर जीवनी
डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर भारतीय संविधान के शिल्पकार और आज़ाद भारत के पहले न्याय मंत्री थे। सामाजिक भेदभाव के विरोध में कार्य करने वाले सबसे प्रभावशाली लोगो में से एक Dr. Br Ambedkar थे। विशेषतः बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर – भारतीय न्यायविद, अर्थशास्त्री, राजनेता और समाज सुधारक के नाम से जाने जाते है।
महिला, मजदूर और दलितों पर हो रहे सामाजिक भेदभाव के खिलाफ आवाज़ उठाने और लढकर उन्हें न्याय दिलाने के लिए भारतरत्न डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर को सदा आदर से स्मरण किया जाते है। भीमराव रामजी आंबेडकर जो विश्व विख्यात है।

Bheem Reddy Satyanarayana Reddy was a famous freedom fighter and Nizam's freedom fighter from Rangareddy district. He was born on August 21, 1927 in Annaram of Shadnagar Mandal and studied in Mogiligda and Hyderabad. Twice as a member of the Rajya Sabha, he served as the governor of the states of Uttar Pradesh and Odisha. Satyanarayana Reddy, who had socialist sentiments at the student stage, was arrested at the age of 14 when he participated in the Quit India movement.
