To make Kohima into a wireless city, the Govt. can construct drains underground. The Drains can be design in such a way so as to accommodate not only water drainage but also Electricity, Telecom and water supply. Main holes can be constructed at strategic points for maintenance . This wireless design can be implemented from PR Hill Junction till New Kohima.

The Municipal should make strict rules regarding collection of waste. Instead of have Dump sites for the public to through their trash, the Municipal can make a Time Table for waste collection. At regular interval the Municipal trucks can take rounds through the main Town where public and shop vendor can through their wast directly into the truck. The existing colony collections can continue as it is.

To ease traffic congestion, the Municipal has to recall all their leased-out buses. All Govt. Dept. buses can be surrendered to the Municipal Authority. Instead of all Buses plying through the same route, the Municipal can allocate no. to every locality. Ticket fares have to be subsidised to encourage people to use public transport. Subsidy will discourage private Buses to ply. Old and outdated Buses have to be removed from the street.

To make Old MLA Hostel until Razhii point vehicle free area. For this to happen, people who wish to shop can park their cars at Old MLA Hostel parking space. For people who wish to go beyond Razhii point can take a diversion from TCP Gate via Hospital-Tinpati Road. The Existing one way trafic from Razhii point to PR Hill can be the same. This traffic arrangement can be effective from 8 AM to 5 PM.
