We need to focus on the potential of every particular tourist destination. Why don't Indian Embassies abroad celebrate every month or every week a festival depicting one particular tourist destination and providing complete information about the place in a way that the desire to visit the place is irresistible

Our contribution to UN peace keeping force is remarkable.Government should recognize this by celebrating a day or awarding medals for meritorious services of exceptional achievement once in a year.

Dhanushkoti is well known for Ram Setu. Just like English Channel swimming competition a swimming competition should be organized at international level to bring in limelight the Ram Setu. Reaching Srilanka from India via Ram Setu in the ocean.

I wish our railways can help in many ways to develop tourism. My friend recently had a amazing experience travelling by train with glass roof top and sides in Switzerland. We can surely try the Himalayan tea train to develop an amazing tourist attraction. see http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-32995131

Today when I returned from vacation in Spain, I had a very good experience at the New Delhi airport. My immigration check was immediate, and baggage arrival was also ok. However, when I took the pre paid taxi, it appeared I was in some village of africa. The taxi was a really ancient Maruti Omni van with a gas cylinder taking up the boot space. My suggestion is that all taxis must be of Maruti Ertiga category and not older than three years or 70,000 KM. The drivers must be immaculate.

Dear Tourism Minister, Please Solve my confusion, Is there any necessary to give non-veg to every hotel which wants ranking like 4 or 5 star in that country where most of the people are vegetarian. Why we cant get 5 star in hotel with pure veg sign. So that we can easily move and enjoy our trip without take tension of food in our country.
